I was told long ago to becareful what you ask for especially during prayer. I was warned that should you pray for patience God woud flood you with those that would demand patience from you.

I read that one's view of their parental father molds one's perception of how Father God will respond to you and what you do.

So I struggled for a long time trying to be careful of wording, making every effort to be concise, exact and inclusive of details that mattered most when asking God for anything. I wrecked my prayer life and what I now realize to much shame, fed a mistrust of the Good Father, until it became an uncontrollable beast.

But yesterday I was reminded of section of scripture that I had read often, but now had gain a new understanding, which revealed my error in bright neon lights I could not unsee.

Mat 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Mat 7:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Mat 7:9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
Mat 7:10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
Mat 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

I realize now how simple and seemingly harmless words and phrases can rob a person of joy and trust in a relationship with God. I also now know just how wrong I was, and lacking discernment to dismiss those words and phrases that caused me to not yield compete trust to a God, King, and Father who has never given me a reason not to trust Him. I know that I can now ask my Father, make my supplication known, knowing that His intentions are pure and just, and all those specifics are unnecessary and a product of untrust. That feels like freedom to me.

Looks like its here!
Did you post it in a different forum or the wrong one?

Because of Jesus, we can come to God with boldness as He knows what we may ask even before we say it. Hes not a scary Father.

Our words don't cause us to not yield to Him but an unrepentant and wicked heart.

"For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies." Matthew 15:19

New threads seem to "disappear" because they don't post right away. The moderators/administrators have to approve them before they make them publicly viewable, thus to the writer it looks like it has disappeared and reappeared..

Such a powerful Topic --

God says This ------

Every Word you speak releases Power Folks it is called the Rhema Word ---the word spoken --------it can be releases in the Negative as well as in the Positive -----you can create what you speak ------

We are made in the Image of God -----God said and God saw what He said -----He created this whole world by speaking words ------

Your Words Matter -------Hebrew word Davar ---Greek word Rhema

Davar means "word," and it also means "thing." This fact reflects a deep facet of a Jewish world view. Words are the creative energy of the world. God spoke, and through words brought the universe into being.

Rhema (ῥῆμα in Greek) literally means an "utterance" or "thing said" in Greek. It is a word that signifies the action of utterance.

subject matter of speech, thing spoken of
b. so far as it is a matter of command

God says ------My Word is ALIVE and Active -------when Spoken ------God's Rhema Word

Job is a perfect Example of creating what he feared -------He said what I feared has come upon me ----

Here is the thing Folks ---we are all energy -----when we speak we deliver that energy outward and it can create what we speak ----- ------

Power Of Words
Proverbs 18:21 ESV
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.

Proverbs 12:18 ESV
There is one whose rash words are like sword thrusts, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.

Matthew 12:36 ESV
I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak,

Proverbs 16:24 ESV
Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.

James 1:26 ESV
If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless.

Proverbs 13:3 ESV
Whoever guards his mouth preserves his life; he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin.

Matthew 12:37 ESV
For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

Matthew 4:4 ESV
But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

Matthew 15:18 ESV
But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I say--------people have no idea what they do to themselves and others when they speak their words -----the Rhema word works both in the negative and positive ------

One Pastor I know put it like this ------your mouth is loaded with bullets and when you shout them out your either cursing one in harm or blessing one in success -------

Witches use their words to curse others and bring harm on someone or cast spells ---- even they know how powerful their words are and what they can do by Speaking them -------

We should never under estimate the Power of Our Words ----

From Got Questions ---
https://www.gotquestions.org/power-of-words.html

Words are not simply sounds caused by our mouths shaping air passing through our larynx. Words have real power. God spoke the world into being by the power of His words (Hebrews 11:3). Humans are made in God's image, and our words also have power. To be clear, human words do not have the power to manifest reality. But our words do more than convey information; they have an impact on people. The power of our words can burden one’s spirit, even stir up hatred and violence. Words can exacerbate wounds and inflict them directly. Alternately, words can build up and be life-giving (Proverbs 18:21; Ephesians 4:29; Romans 10:14–15). Of all the creatures on this planet, only humans have the ability to communicate through the spoken word. The power to use words is a unique and powerful gift from God.

From Google
People also ask
Do words have the power?

Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate and to humble.”

What is the power of your word?
You have the capacity to have what you say. There is power and miracles on your lips. Your word is a powerful force -

Here is an example -----you have a fear of having your house broken into -------you keep speaking this fear to your friends --neighbours ---on phone calls you have -----this is negative meditation and speech that you have been harbouring and speaking out and you have sent this message out and could bring this fear right to your door --------

God's faith when spoken brings Good results -------Satan's fear filled words bring Bad results -----
