We all were only natural people when we were born into this world by natural birth.(1 Cor 2:14). Sometime between our natural birth and our natural death, some of us were quickened to a new spiritual birth, by God's sovereign grace while we were, yet, spiritually dead in our sins as natural mankind (Eph 2:1-5). This transition included God exchanging our old natural man's heart of stone for a new softer fleshy heart (2 Cor 3:3) (Eze 11:19), that could be pricked, by God, to feel guilt (Acts 2:37)(Acts 9:5).
The natural person, whose heart, of stone, has not been exchanged, can not feel guilty of breaking a spiritual law of God that he cannot discern, and thinks them to be foolishness (1 Cor 2:14).
