I couldnt get any one to give me a good example of a Pentecostal preacher. So I have been doing some digging on the internet. It seems a lot of Pentecostal or at least those who claim to be Pentecostal extolling a man named William Branham. Is this William Branham a prime example pf Pentecostal teaching?

He's an example of a certain kind of Pentecostalism but definitely not mainstream. He taught the serpent seed doctrine, Christian identity and latter rain. Mainstream Pentecostalism roundly denounces latter rain. His mentor was Roy E. Davis, a National Imperial Wizard in the KKK and convicted criminal. Branham's cult was more of a political movement masquerading as a religious movement.

Branham is help up by the New Apostolic Reformation as someone great, but don't buy it. He was a fraud and a conman.

i am familiar with many Pentecostal Preachers, most have passed away within past 35 years, who thought of Branham as a False Prophet. William was born 1909 and most of the preachers i speak about were born before that time, around that time, and 10-15 years past that time but was around in Branham's preaching hey day prime. They would tell you there's no way that person represented what Pentecostal was about.
^
in the other thread, i had to look him up. so last night i called people and they told me about the views of preachers i once knew and their views towards Branham. so i am paraphrasing.

What Denomination/Church Group are you from? How about we start with that?

lol, as a pentecostal Minister for over 40 years, the word Pentacostel means one who Identifies with the empowerment of the Holy Spirit recorded in the Book of Acts chapter 2.

Grew up in Pentecost, have family that are Pentecostal pastors, ministered in hundreds of Pentecostal churches, never heard of him.

What does that have to do with me trying to learn what Pentecostal teaching is like?
No one is giving me any answer. I wonder why? Its very strange.
Its particularly strange to ask a question and then rather than get an answer someone try to change the subject.
All I want to do is listen to a Pentecost peacher that exemplifies the Pentecost organization. I'm beginning to think its kept nebulous intentionally.

It matters because you seem to be seeking information on various teachings/beliefs, but do not seem to reveal your own....

As much as you want to learn about Pentecostal Preachers.........we here want to learn about you. Do you have something to hide? Are you ashamed of your Denomination/Group?

Yeah, that's gotta be it! The entire Pentacostal Movement is conspiring to keep you from learning their "secret handshake."

What I'm finding on the internet is very bad. Guys like Bethel church, Jim Baker, and this William fella.
Like anything there are very bad examples where ever ya look. But these and dozens of other very preachers is all I am finding.
I would hope that this isnt a good example and that someone could point me to a good example.
Trying to find the good here. Not getting any help.

No one should have as much trouble as you seem to be having finding out what Pentecostalism is; there's information everywhere. Actually I think you probably already know what Pentecostalism is about; you're just looking for someone to give you the name of a Pentecostal preacher so you can then turn around and belittle them.

in my opinion, the best examples of top notch Pentecostal Preaching happened 40 to 50 years ago. for the most part, you will never find them on youtube and any private tapes/recordings are kept as precious keepsakes within family house holds being passed from generation to generation.

i do enjoy this brother, Dwight Thompson.

Neither are we. Still trying to find some good in you and your posts. Do you have a "good example" of a Preacher that belongs to your Denminaiton/Group?

Come on, don't be shy.

OR, ARE YOU JUST HERE PFISHING?

You're the one, as you recall, who posted the totally unfunny Lutheran Satire videos, so you'll have to forgive me if I'm a little skeptical of your motives.
