I have watched a lot of video interviews featuring Rock and Pop music stars. Their testimonies of how they achieved fame often includes a shout out to Satan ( the Devil). This is a compilation of dozens of such testimonies and symbolism, such as the one eye.
There are a couple words of profanity I caught, so language warning. I don't agree 100% with all it's content, such as the numerology section of around a minute might be pushing it. However, The content of this video sheds light upon the real evil behind many bands. That is something to consider as we choose what to listen to or what you may allow your children to bring into your home. I'd like to hear from you parents and other believers. What do you think?

2 Corinthians 10:4 plus Matthew 24:6~ The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.

The intro is the language warning up to the 5:00 minute mark, so skip ahead if that's something you wish to not hear. The video producer uses scene clips from a movie called American Satan to introduce a technique the devil uses to introduce artists to fame. This segways into the many examples of stars displaying blatant Satanic symbols and admissions of who launched their careers. It answers the place Satan hides his secrets. Any guesses where that is? Here's one not answered by the video, why does he reveal them the way he does?

Interesting documentary and worth a watch.

At about the 15:10 mark in the video, a rapper said that he was in Arizona watching the sunrise. He was alone, noting that he had only seen ~4 cars on the highway. So it was quiet too.

He thought the sunrise was so beautiful as he admired God’s creation. In the stillness and quietness is when the devil appeared to him. When people aren’t distracted and busying themselves about their daily lives seems to be a preferred time to appear to strike a deal.

In Matthew 4:1-11, Jesus had a similar experience. When He went out into the quietness of the desert and was alone the devil came to Him to test Him.

I believe the devil targets this time when people are alone because quiet alone time is also when it’s easiest to hear God speak. This, I believe, is why Jesus often went to pray alone.

Good observation as the devil's minions often send someone to distract the person from hearing the gospel. If I share, even a video of the good news, I often am reminded to tell the listener to find a place free of those distractions. This is so they will hear what the Holy Spirit says through His Word.

While its not hard to see that hollyweird if full of evil. This documentary is still twattle.
Its a perfect cover, make the reality so absurd no one believes it.
Hollyweird is indeed evil without a doubt, and full of antichistians.

If you could somehow show me today's headlines just 10 years ago, No...make it 3, it would be hard to believe what would be achieved by that evil.

Music is powerful. But much of the music generated the past 20 or more years has been rubbish. The singers etc. are promised fame and glory for allegiance to the cult. Same with actors, models, television. The devil's cult is slowly trying to take over the world. Even doctors have been conscripted of late - "promote our kill-shot, or you can no longer practice medicine".

Satan has been in control of this world since the fall of Adam and Eve.

I've seen other documentaries like this before. Often times I find them to be a head scratcher. Because I never know what to believe and what not to believe. Celebrities and promoters will take any publicity they can get. Now days it seems the more controversial, the better for their popularity.

I simply choose to ignore that junk, and listen to whatever I think is good. Anything that goes against the God of the Bible, or promotes stuff that I don't want in me. I just don't listen to it. When Christian Bands fall and start making songs that introduce bad language. I don't throw away the old albums, but I stop buying anything new by that band. There are plenty of good bands out there. So when a Christian band goes bad, I just move onto another one. Don't get me wrong, I'm sad whenever that happens... But that's just the way the entertainment industry is.

Good points. Even the C👁️A promotes certain artists to modify the culture through the more impressionable. The insert scripts for movies too. Example is the Pilot of the Lone Gunman series. This happened shortly before the trade center attack 2001. This brought their war and gutted the Bill of Rights.

It's interesting subject. Thanks for bringing it back up.
I've got evangelist Dennis Coral's book, They Sold Their Soul For Rock and Roll, in my library. I think many of the old time Preachers we're right.

As far as a "beat" goes, I think it's not an objective measure of whether or not something is sinful. Most songs have a beat. Some call it a tempo or measure if not mistaken. All my songbooks have a pattern that can be read. My pastor said a beat that is the same as the heartbeat is sinful, while a piano is a percussion instrument, but allowed. "A song that makes toe tap before it gets to your heart" is the standard for sin, I've been told. I don't agree until someone can show me from the Bible, but many songs are clearly sensual and meant to sound devilish, so obviously so.

That doesn't condone the devil's rock concerts. Like many things, tools/ instruments can be used for the Lord or for the Devil.

What do you think?

My brain was getting so distorted early on seems to distort everything. Particularly so focused on escape from reality it is hard to say if music was significant. Even in grammar school, this time of year the focus was on Meisterbrau Bock beer. Quite a few of my 'friends' were that way. Kids involved in music were not 'friends'.

So for the past 2 or 3 years I didn't listen to any music. Now my brain is trying to figure out what's what. About 4 yrs ago I was listening to classical and even there my last year of drinking, 1988-1989, I probably wore out Gustav Mahlers, Song of the Earth. Even remember line, Dunkel ist das leben ist der tag. Dark is this life and this day. Did I think it was dark?

I came upon the video after looking up Johnny Cash singing 'Sunday Morning Coming Down' as I was learning to play that about twenty years ago and it speaks to me. Then I wiki JC, wooo! JC Johnny Cash. He became a 'Christian' with AoG. WOW!!!..Interesting if you want link and scroll to Religious beliefs..Johnny Cash - Wikipedia ...I am regularly in contact with AoG!!!!!???.

I had no idea. So he was raised Southern Baptist, attended Assemblies oh God as an adult and took a Bible course which led to his ordination.
Maybe I should know, but who is AoG?

My search about 'Christians' for the past 4 years has finally ended with me associating, by phone only so far, with AoG near me.
Assemblies of God - Wikipedia >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>my local AoG>>.>>Maranatha Chapel in Evergreen Park IL (mchapel.net)

If you check my local AoG scroll to Sermons and 20 Nov ....Carlos Paniagua>>>>>speaks to me>>>>and love that name>>bread & water

Serious>>>as a kid 8 or 9 always get bread, sugar, and beer.>>>Modified recipe from Lithuanian cookbook for bread and water>>crazy>>>lol...lol

See post #19 and if you check, the video was found by searching for Jimmy Snow. Kris Kristoferson testimony somewhere on there really speaks to me. I even posted it on music thread. Reminds me too about Drew Barrymore and the mods wouldn't post maybe due to some negative publicity about 'evangelism'. Not sure. Maybe about drug use?
