Arlo, Apple, Wyze, and Anker, owner of Eufy, all confirmed to CNET that they won’t give authorities access to your smart home camera’s footage unless they’re shown a warrant or court order. If you’re wondering why they’re specifying that, it’s because we’ve now learned Google and Amazon can do just the opposite: they’ll allow police to get this data without a warrant if police claim there’s been an emergency. And while Google says that it hasn't used this power, Amazon’s admitted to doing it almost a dozen times this year.

Google has been spying on Americans in league with the U.S government for years.
Possibly even China also given their financial link into G.

Now Google has a new SmartPhone on the market.

One world Order under surveillance. 👀

I just saw a newstory on the video doorbell "Ring" system. Apparently the security videos go to the police without consent of the owner. Many are using this technology.
Personally, I don't want the police to even know when I'm home. There are too many crooks that case homes to find out when to break in.

I can't fathom why the American consumer would bear the expense of violating their personal privacy with such contraptions.

Home surveillance cameras inside the home?

Now ring has that type system available too. While their doorbell runs surveillance around the clock.

There's a new show, Neighborhood Wars.
I've seen the commercials but I'd never watch the show. Who wants to see nightmare neighbor fights? OK, apparently plenty of people which is why there's a show but still.

A lot of the footage on the commercials is obviously from the Ring system.

What about people who are selling their homes and setting up virtual tours through their Realtors website. Furnished homes.

Think people!
You're giving a virtual shopping list opportunity to burglars and the home invasion type.

All I want for Christmas is all those expensive trinkets in that millions of dollar mansion! 😳🤯

Those are all important points that people should think about. One selling feature that companies should promote is the inability to hack their brands. I'll never get a Ring or anything like this creepy news story.

And

And

Looks like a common problem.

Sounds like a good business opportunity for someone who knows how to make a smart camera attached to your home computer. Make one that stores the images through your computer system. Most people want a security system that is streamed to the internet so that the crooks can't disable the computer and take the video. So that would be a second issue. Also, the big selling point of these door bell cameras is that they are connected to your phone. So you would need to do that as well.

I suspect that the government is tied into any camera that is linked to the cloud.

The government is in control, tied, to everything that utilizes any communication system. Exception being the Internet.

FCC=Federal Communications Commission

FCC even exercises dominion over ham radio operation.

However the U.S governments Department of Commerce held control over the Internet until 1998 when the DC extended controls by creating the ICANN.
Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers.

Remember the reporting Ellon Musk wants to create a computer system that links into the human brain?

A conference of the European Neural Network Society.

Why not just forget the high tech stuff and get a fence, big nasty dog, gun, and warning signs.
Works for me.

They'll need it. That dog can't handle the recoil or hold his place to make a direct and focused shot.

By the way about those signs, just don't ever get the one that reads, BEWARE OF DOG.

Get the , NO TRESPASSING VIOLATORS PROSECUTED, sign.

A neighbor up the road has a sign on the fence surrounding their yard. You can find anything on Amazon.😆

NO TRESPASSING! VIOLATOR'S WILL BE SHOT SURVIVORS WILL BE SHOT AGAIN

Who in their right mind would violate those warnings?

Amazing how many people trust these hi-tech devices.
Some would not be able to find their way home if they went dead.

For smart home devices I use Eve products which have the highest level of privacy and they make your home more beautiful to live in.

Turn on/off your outside lights on sunset/sunrise , turn off outlets on a schedule, have door and window sensors, monitor the dust and humidity in the house and add a few cameras which record based on movement.
Well worth it for us geeks. It integrates with iOS beautifully.
