Some have made an impression here, we have enjoyed learning and growing with them, then for whatever reason they have departed CC, but not from our hearts.
Remember God's Girl since 83? We had a lot of fun reading her posts and I for one wish her and her whole house very well.

Amen.

GG was one of the nicest people I've ever encountered in my life.

Furthermore, I LOVE RACCOONS and dogs, so your post was a WIN, WIN, WIN!

Did you take that photograph? I had pet raccoons for a few years when I was younger :)
We're on ignore so...
I found a site where you can use their art or upload your own. I've created two so far but haven't really finalized either design enough to purchase them.
Anyway, just thinking how your designs would be perfect for such a project.

Believing that would require putting stock in what he says.

Thank you for the recommendation :) I am currently without a design program, but hope to have
that remedied by early next week :D One site I was sourcing material from allowed personal uploads
to share with others, but you could not have any type of watermark or signature on it anywhere.

Raccoons might be the cutest of all animals.

Well, with the possible exception of a certain bear...

I've never heard of or seen a green rose before.

I just "Googled" them to see if they were actually a thing.

Well, I learned something new today.

neither, we were having discussions about life, I mentioned Rocky Raccoon was showing up and eating me out of birdseed, she was having fun posting pictures of raccoons being cute, dressed up and pushing little shopping carts, stuff like that. it was a fun time whenever she was here.
this was one, she was encouraging me to take him in and teach him stuff-

I was live trapping them and taking them too far away to come back, she thanked me for being kind as where they are someone had set out poison, they had tried to get one well but it didn't work out.

how cool!

one of my friends has been feeding a family of them in the woods behind his house for years. the mother we call Ellie, i was feeding animal crackers out of my hand last time i was there. she comes out of the forest about the same time every night to see him.
i gave her a marshmallow too, the first one she's ever had. she was really puzzled by it! but eventually discovered it was tasty :giggle:

This has always been my favorite raccoon photo:

rac.jpg

Every time that I see it, I'm reminded of the following portion of scripture:

"And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation." (Isaiah 25:9)

Oh my word! A full gospel raccoon! PTL!

I have neighbors in the next town that have a LOT of raccoons that come visit, they go through bags and bags of marshmallows!

Driving around the house to see a raccoon rummaging through the trash cans.
Me: Oh look how cute is that. I want to pet it.
FIL: Proceeds to lecture me about wild raccoons.
Also me: Puts leg back in truck and closes door.
