Islam 101. That's why the truth about Islam is so hard to find. Who wants to speak up and put their lives at risk?
I was Muslim for almost a decade after being Christian for 33 years. American Christianity, to me, is too bizarre though I believe in One God and Jesus. Anything I am confused about will be explained to me. As I have said before I am now an Abrahamic Religionist. Muslims believe in Jesus (Isa) but not as the Son of God. Of course there is Matt 3:17 "This is my son, in whom I am well pleased".

There were lots of belief systems before the Jews. It is all an interesting field of study. I am well aware that lots of people have been killed in the quarreling about the various doctrines.

The difference is that the Qur'an mandates killing in many instances where Christianity does not. There is no "death to infidels" in the New Testament. What I find bizarre is Christians saying that Islam is an Abrahamic religion.

I may be too old to correctly remember, or to do accurate research any more. In my opinion, the violence in Islam comes from the Fatwas, and Hadiths. There are Muslims who are "Quran Only" Muslims and I would be quite sympathetic to their views. In my research, I found that "Quranism" is a movement that permeates all of Islam.

As far as the "Death to Infidels" ideas are concerned, Christianity is full of them slaughtering one another by hideous means.

There is no commandment to treat anyone with violence or slaughter anyone in the New Testament, whereas the
Quran has over a hundred verses advocating violence and death to infidels, Jews, Christians, and non-believers.

The Quran contains at least 109 verses that speak of war with nonbelievers, usually on the basis
of their status as non-Muslims. Some are quite graphic, with commands to chop off heads and
fingers and kill infidels wherever they may be hiding. Muslims who do not join the fight are called
'hypocrites' and warned that Allah will send them to Hell if they do not join the slaughter.

The holy Quran is beautiful. It is the Fatwas that make Islam awful. I would be happy as a Quran Only Muslim but I would have to let the issue about Isa (PBUH) rest until Allah SWT tells me. For me, the sad truth that the Sunni and Shia could never settle things just robbed it of credibility.
The quran is NOT Holy... It is a deception from a false prophet..

One heaven promises young prime girls in paradise (Idk what the women get, lol)
The other heaven is the Kingdom of God where we will meet Jesus and our loved ones in a glorified land.
One was carnal the other one of the Spirit.
Which one will we choose to bet our eternal life on?
Also, Jesus at birth was called Emmanuel, God is with us.

The only assurance of salvation anyone has in Islam is through jihad, immolating them self in the process. And yes, young men are lured with the promise of having their lust-driven fantasies fulfilled in the afterlife via multiple bed-mates who magically remain virginal even after being ravaged repeatedly. It's disgusting when you think about it. These virgins (hadith 2687 is where the number 72 is mentioned) are called houris, and described in vulgar details meant to inflame their passions. Not surprising given the fact that the founder of Islam was a sexual predator.

You'd better not look at your English version of the Scripture about Koran. It's a terrible translation. Maybe you can learn Chinese.

It kinda sounds like a fairy tale similar to the show 'I Dream of Genie', lol.
jinn (n.)
1680s, djen, from Arabic jinn. It is a collective plural, "demons, spirits, angels;" the proper singular
is jinni, which appears in English occasionally as jinnee (1840) but more frequently as genie.

The 9th century Islamic historian and exegete al-Tabari notes the following: “The pre-Islamic Arabs
believed in the demon of poetry, and they thought that a great poet was directly inspired by demons"
(The History of al-Tabari, Vol. 9, [State University of New York Press, 1990], p. 167 note 1151). The Koran
itself mentions some examples of people who suspected that Muhammad was under such demonic
inspiration. Koran 44:14 says, “Yet they turn away from him and say: ‘Tutored (by others), a man possessed!’”
(Koran 44:14, Yusuf Ali). Also Koran 37:36 says, “And say: ‘What! shall we give up our gods for the sake
of a Poet possessed?’” (Koran 37:36, Yusuf Ali).

In the early Muslim literature – namely al-Tabari and Ibn Isaq – we find Muhammad believed he was one
of these demon possessed poets after his experience with Gabriel in the cave of Hira, so much so that he
wanted to commit suicide. Muhammad was so distraught and convinced his encounters with spirit beings
were nefarious that he wanted to end his own life! In the Bible there is not one instance of a true prophet
or apostle being concerned they were demon possessed or controlled by Satan in going forth with their
divine mission from God. This is unique to Muhammad because he was demon possessed.

It's claimed that either the angel Gabriel dictated the Koran to Muhammad or it just came to him, but since God is not the author of confusion, why would He issue out two different theologies? I would think if people would look into the origins of the Koran they might be concerned about exactly who they are worshipping imo.

2 Corinthians 11:14: “And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.”

Mohammed's wife Khadija was instrumental in convincing Muhammed that he was not demon possessed.

He even included verses from Satan as part of the Koran and then retracted them.

Perhaps the truth, or closer to it, lies with the Quran only folk? Perhaps the Fatwas and Hadiths are largely false?

My position is that I need to know for absolutely sure that I serve the almighty God of creation and that I'll be in His eternal kingdom forever. There isn't any room for error on a decision that will determine where I spend eternity. There can only be one creator and I've come to the firm conclusion it is Jehovah, the God of the Bible. God bless you!
