So last night I was blind-sided by a random dream of someone I haven’t thought of or talked to in maybe 25 years.

In the dream she was in quite a bit of trouble. Seemed like she had a lot of fear and a lot of anxiety. In the dream, I laid my hands on her, calling upon the name of the Lord, and prayed for her. Afterwards, she got into a garbage can and fell asleep. I tried to get her out, but she went back in the can. She seemed so peaceful then. I think there must be meaning to this dream.

I have prayed about it more and have tried to listen to God and I am led to believe she is in a really bad situation in life right now and needs deliverance.

Will you please pray for her? Her name is Bobbi.
thank you 🙏🏻

Lord God, we know you can give us dreams and visions for different reasons and we're thankful for that. So we lift up Bobbi, a contact of Runningman's, and agree in prayer for her deliverance of anything troubling her and your Holy Spirit to give her joy, comfort, wisdom, peace and protection, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen🙏 Thank You Heavenly Father.

The garbage can isn't Gehena though it's indicative of a vehicle which is meant to be 'enroute' to it. I believe this dream is the result of your prayers fulfilled in that she will no longer fear death but find her peace in the name of the Lord, God is Salvation, which is synonymous with His Word.

Thank you. Praise God!

I tried to search for her but couldn’t even find a single thing anywhere. Maybe she got married, moved, or changed her name.

A detail I didn’t include was she said something about her stepfather, but not with words. It was like I just knew was she was thinking in the dream. I got the vibe she couldn’t speak, she was mute.

"Let us pray to know silent prayers covers many things that we may not
fully understand. Let us pray the Holy Spirit leads our heart to touch upon
things not meant to fully understand."

I had dreams prompting me to wake up and pray for a certain person and then soon after learning of their being in a situation with need of God's hand. I'm not trying to figure out if I influenced His hand by praying or if God's grace just let me in on the workings of His miracles. It is a privilege to pray for others even when they don't know it and we don't know the exact details, and of course there's always reason to praise His name through all of it.

Recent discussions have caused me to meditate on the book of Job, and the difference between Elihu's answer from his other three friends. This led me to an article, well, a couple of articles since two or three witnesses are prudent, that did the hard work for me providing scriptural details of a couple accounts of the difference. I.e., Although all of them said the same thing, "Job is a sinner," the rebuked three said Job sinned before he was afflicted, but Elihu said Job had sinned in his affliction. And another article, which is a dissertation, so I've saved it for a more thorough reading later, speaks to God disciplinary hand in the affliction. Whereas the three (erroneously) speak to it as punishment, Elihu's perspective of it is a teaching and thus guiding presence in it. Again, I've only skimmed it to get the idea of subject, but it was convincing enough to save it for further study.

curious that the three sources you’re reading seem to think Job was being punished for habitual sin. Actually, the book of Job says the exact opposite.

The first verse says Job was perfect and upright. Satan wanted to test Job, not punish him, though I’m sure it felt quite punishing. It seemed like Job did eventually offend God when he was complaining a lot, thus provoking an audible response from God. If Job sinned I’m not sure where he sinned because sin is a transgression of God’s Laws. I don’t know of any “though shall not complain” Laws.

One thing that alludes to his great trial is this Scripture Job 3:25; For the thing I greatly feared has come upon me, And what I dreaded has happened to me.
His fear was for his children partying too much and how many times does the Word tell us fear not, it brings doubt against our faith.

the "three" I referenced that thought that were 'Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar, as the two sources claim those assert that reasoning for Job's affliction. The two sources didn't convince me as much as said what I thought a lot better than I could. I figured if the truth is timeless, then someone else has already seen it and a few key words brought up those sources. The key words in particular were 'how was Elijah different from Job's three friends?'
I saved the links to the two sources if you'd like to take a look.
Why Elihu is So Mysterious
Elihu, the Forgotten Prophet of Job

Speaking only from recent acquired memory, I'd confused the second article with the dissertation that I saved to read later, and mentioned. I skimmed it but didn't even start it as it's only an introduction but seems to be pages long. That is here and it is a dissertation of the book of Job by Robert Barnes. I thought to save it for a closer look, to see what it has to say about the subject. However, I lean toward Einstein's philosophy that if you can't explain it simply then you don't know enough about it, and the reading is rather lengthy so I'm not making any promises that I'll ever get to even starting it.
