I've read alot of stuff about Germany, their energy problems, and their economy in big trouble. I'd really like to hear from someone who is actually there, on the ground.

What exactly is happening with the energy?

Prices more than doubled by now.

Gas for cars? Home heating and cooling?

Gas has risen to around 2 euros per litre. Sometimes 1.80 if your lucky. Home heating we are avoiding completely
Here we dont have AC so cooling only works with a seperate ac which now isnt worth it. Its cold enough. But a few weeks ago i used my AC and it made our energy bill 3x as much eventho we only turned it on in the eveninh when we were home for a few hrs.

Energy for businesses?

All companys are no longer allowed to heat the offices above 22 degrees celcius. Which really really sucks for all of us. Schools have plans on when they can heat and how much as well. Restaurants are allowed to have like 24 degrees. Its also mandatory for businesses to turn off lightd in halls and other parts of buildings that are not frequently used.

And how has this affected you personally?

In many ways as you can read above. There may be more but thats all that just came to my mind.

Things have gotten very expensive and chaotic. Starting october until 7th or 17th of April we are back to covid rules making FFP2 masks mandatory in all public buildings and enabling each state to bring back lockdowns. All people with 2 vaccines are no longer seen as vaccinated which will cause big issues as they are mandatory for all health care workers. People starting at the age of 65 are supposed to get the 4th and our health minister is already making plans how to further blackmail people into more vaccines.
Daily goods and gas and public transportation prices exploded. Elecricity and gas exploded to over the double the charge. The media is continuing to spread panic about the winter coming and attacking all who oppose the vaccination rules and the whole war thing foing on. Meanwhile our green party is working to enforce a law that allows you to change your gender and name once a year. The world has gone mad

Also groceries are crazy expensive. Even when going to stores like Aldi theres no way you can shop for a week under 50 bucks. Im talking about bread and simple things..not even talking about meat like steaks or so. That would add another min 20 bucks if you buy the cheapest for a 5 days. A pack of cut up chicken is between 5 and 8 euros. Its about 500 gramms

How are they policing how high someone turns up their thermostat?

Here in Chicago, Walmart sells chicken starting at about $1/454g to about $6/454g If you don't have allergies you may want to stock up on peanut butter. I eat it a lot with honey on crackers. I'm almost addicted like with chocolate which is probably expensive but can store well. I am new to this chat, 11 sept 2022, and I see from somewhere that you posted over time here and very complicated things. I would like to ask your opinion about a couple of women I once was acquainted with and had some experiences that seemed pretty complicated. It seems that over the many years of my life I meet up with people that have a lot of complexities to deal with. But I never believed in any kind of existence beyond the here and now until about 5 yrs ago. Can I ask if you still are accosted in any way?

First let me say that this is all very unusual for me. Just yesterday the phrase came into my head 'Jesus freak'. I vaguely recall the time when the people I would associate with would use that term in reference to people like I find myself now engaging with. Just within the past 4yrs. my thinking has definitely been transformed. I now am certain that the Bible is a supernatural work. This post may never have been written had I not casually read your testimony. It seems to me that some people are much more strongly influenced by the supernatural world. Lorie, seemed to be not so strongly influenced and just seemed to be dominated by Mary. Mary came across to me as woman who needed serious mental help. At the time I didn't accept that any supernatural world existed and Lorie seemed to possibly question it when I would tell her that I thought her partner Mary needed mental help. The reason I think and ask about these sort of things now is because I recall as a child and later as a teen my mother always searching out some mediums and trying to maybe get me more interested in that sort of thing. So the way she treated me all my life it seemed as though I was the wicked step child. No where near your experience I would say as my mother and I and an older by 3yrs. brother lived with my mothers parents and I think her father kept her in line. So now that I see that the supernatural world is the world that will continue on forever I start to wonder what kind of influences we have got from these supernatural beings. I think my mother would wish curses on me. I never payed attention to it but now wonder about those things. I get the sense that this verse has always been in effect for me and I didn't have a clue. Hebrews 1:
14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

How does a person born into an incomprehensible environment deal with it.

Thanks for that. Seems you have been dumped on your whole life and now what. How about the verse 'be angry and sin not' and the next verse is about not letting the devil take control or something like that. Who or what are we to be angry with?

We should try to focus our anger on the fact that these people are lost and they dont understand that they are puppets in need of deliverance. Its hard and I admit i fail at that. Yesterday i just kept praying "God let me be wise as a serpent and harmles as a dove" and that i think saved me from yelling back and not getting too involved. Let me share these verses from Ephesians 6
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

We have to knowingky put on that armour. We dont just get dressed in it. Its a good orayer to start the day. Also psalm 91
