Many large earthquakes lately. If there was a tsunami it would depend on the kind of earthquake and if it caused any water to be displaced.

Earthquakes can occur in a variety of ways. Sometimes it’s a horizontal and sometimes it’s vertical slipping along the fault. The vertical slipping type, if they occur under water, typically produce a tsunami when the ground suddenly lowers or raises and displaces water.
