what do you think would happen to one who was saved initially and adopted as a son, then lost that salvation?

Does God send his kids to hell?
That's not what I asked. Is this something you came up with on your own or did you learn it from someone else? It sure ain't in God's word.

Actually yes it is.

He adopts his children when they are saved. They are given his inheritance at that time (eph 1) and they have eternal life.

If, as you claim, salvation can be lost., then they by defenition would no longer be his child. and they would have lost their inheritance which was already given to them

So you believe God throws his children in Hell?

If they are adopted as children. then end up in hell. Then either God throwns his children in hell. or he kicked them out of his family

You have two choices man.. You need to research what you really believe.

You ask, "Does God send His kids to hell?" Well, yes He does. Firstly, we are all God's sons and daughters and all will not be saved. Secondly, Jesus handpicked Judas Iscariot to be and Apostle. Later, when Satan came in to Judas and Judas betrayed Christ Himself, Jesus said of Judas, "It would have been better than he shouldn't have been born!" So, I'm guessing that Judas isn't in heaven, hobnobbing with the angels and saints.

And God doesn't really send anyone to hell. Scripture makes it abundantly clear that it's the Father's Will that all be saved. That's why the Father sent Jesus to us. If any souls do end up in hell it's because they rejected the Father's love and Jesus offer of salvation. If anyone ends up in hell, separation from God, it's by their own choosing. And, through unrepentant sin, we can separate ourselves from God.

So do you teach/think that an unbeliever (someone who is not trusting in the atoning work of Jesus Christ) can get to heaven?
I believe the message in the short video I posted.

1. Everyone has sinned
2. We all deserve death in hell
Romans 6:23;. Revelation 21:8
3. Christ ( Who is fully God and fully man) gave His life a ransom for all.
4. Man's good works are as worthless as filthy rags when they apply to salvation.
Ephesians 2:8;. Titus 3:5
5. Eternal life is the gift that can ONLY be received by faith in the Savior Jesus Christ.
None of our works can be added to that.
John 3:16, 17, 18

"18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

That's no condemnation and everlasting life. That's not a probationary period to see if we can live up to perfection. None of us are perfect, but saved forever?....Yes.
☕🙂👍
This is what I believe Chester.

How about you?

This is wrong. in the world we were children of Satan, who was our father

He picked him for a reason. He was never adopted as a child. as Jesus said., There are some of you who do not believe. Judas was part of those people

Your wrong again, It is not because of sin, It is because of unbelief.

Once again, He who believes is not condemned, He who does not believe is condemned already. they were born in the condemned state before they even commited their first sin.

If you truly believe in Jesus, you'll repent of your sins. The first words Jesus spoke/commanded when He started His ministry were, "Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand." If you really believe in Jesus, you'll believe in ALL that He taught us to do and observe.

I don't repent of my sins to BE saved or to MAINTAIN salvation. That takes effort, works and is excluded from His plan unless you want to keep the whole law.
So far, I know of only one person who has done that.

As to fellowship/ being on speaking terms with my Father, it's usually a daily necessity repent of sins and to confess sins. These should be distinguished from the commands for salvation. They are commands to the children to be in good fellowship with the Lord.

"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us...."

You need to research what you really believe.
You're the one who said God kicks His children out of the family according to those who believe you can forfeit your salvation. Still waiting on the answer to where your research dug up that one.

I am still waiting for you to tell me how they can still be gods children if they lost their salvation.

I can't explain it to you and you don't really want anyone to explain it. You just want someone to help you relieve your boredom. It's been real but you'll have to find a new accomplice. Ciao.

I believe all five points you gave and I believe the verse you gave. And I believe the Christian has no condemnation and has eternal life.

It depends what you mean by "none of us are perfect"? I think that all believers may occasionally sin, but because that sin is forgiven, in God's eyes at the level of the spirit the Christian is always "perfect" and stands uncondemned before God. The person believing in Jesus Christ is saved forever and has eternal life.

But you didn't answer my question LOL! I do not believe that a person who is not believing in the atoning work of Jesus Christ can get to heaven. What do you believe about that?

I agree with you in regards to the teaching in 1 John about the spirit of a saved man .
I'm glad to hear that you trusted Christ as your Savior.

John 3:18 is the answer. Isn't that what you were wanting to know?
