Los Angeles prosecutors accused the CEO of Michigan-based Konnech, an election software company, of being involved in a “massive” data breach affecting several thousand victims—including minors.

Konnech employees were sending personal identifying information of Los Angeles election workers to third-party software developers in China “who assisted in creating and fixing” Konnech’s software known as PollChief, according to a complaint California prosecutors filed on Oct. 14.

Los Angeles County prosecutors alleged in court that the amount of data involved in the breach was “astounding,” adding that “this is probably the largest data breach in United States history.”

In August, Luis Nabergoi, a Konnech project manager overseeing the Los Angeles contract, wrote in a Chinese-owned messaging app that any employees for Chinese contractors working on PollChief software would have “superadministration” access to the client data, the complaint alleges.

The message also described the situation as a “huge security issue,” according to the complaint.

On Oct. 4, the day of Yu’s arrest, Nabergoi allegedly told employees in an internal email that the company was “moving to a new stage in the company maturity and we need to ensure the security privacy and confidentiality,” according to the court filing.

Nabergoi added that to accomplish this, personal data would no longer be included in the fixing of Konnech’s PollChief software, the complaint said.

Konnech has acknowledged that it had a subsidiary in China, which it said it closed last year.

Was this one of those who died while in prison? I read that some of the prisoners died mysteriously.

I'm not absolutely sure, but I think he is still very much alive... As I have heard his Lawyer on Newsmax a few times, but I have not heard anything of his passing... I pretty much have Newsmax on in the background most weekday evenings... I suspect that if he passed we would have heard about it on Newsmax...

I'm a very conservative savings investor... As a Government Employee in lieu of a 401K I have a Thrift Savings Plan (TSP)... Reading the Tea Leaves and recognizing that the DS agenda includes crashing the economy and stock market as we are left to watch our life savings wither away... I attempted to re-invest some of my other personal investments into Gold, Silver and Bitcoin (Not Cryptocurrency that's a DS agenda product)... Unfortunately, I learned that I was one year too young to transfer my TSP into a Gold IRA... BUT, I was okay with it... I had come to terms and peace with the idea that if divorcing ourselves of the corrupt DS System Shackles that the price for ridding our world of the DS would be worth it... I came to terms that if everyone else who had not had the benefit of being FULLY AWAKE to save their life savings were ultimately going to be asked to make this epic transition as well...
As of today I have since been able to at least be able to shift and move my remaining TSP funds and investments into the most conservative treasuring fund option available... So at least I won't lose the farm when the economy/market crash...
