Body of Christ begins: At Jesus resurrection, He is the firstfruit of the resurrection (1 Cor 15:20-23) & the Head of the Body (Col 1:18, Eph 1:22).

Shortly after Jesus resurrection, graves were opened (Matt 27:52 -53). Many bodies of OT saints which slept arose/were resurrcted & went into Jerusalem being seen by many. The 144 k (Rev 14:1-4) Also [I'm guessing] OT leadership Noah, Abraham, Moses, Elijah, David (Rev 4:10) & maybe everyone that was in Abraham's bosom.

Any of the above resurrected would-be parts of the Body of Christ. The NT body begins at the (Acts 2) Pentecost, with the outpouring of Christ's eternally indwelling Holy Spirit. Every post Pentecost NT believer receives Christ's Holy Spirit baptism.

The Holy Spirit is the earnest/seal (2 Cor 1:22, 5:5, Eph 1:13-14, 4:30). Earnest means deposit/down payment/seal. It's Christ's ever faithful promise of final redemption/resurrection into His presents FOREVER!

Vine's Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words: Seal

(a) a seal" or "signet," Revelation 7:2, "the seal of the living God," an emblem of ownership and security, here combined with that of destination (as in Ezekiel 9:4), the persons to be "sealed" being secured from destruction and marked for reward;
(b) "the impression" of a "seal" or signet,

[ B-1,Verb,G4972, sphragizo ]
"to seal" (akin to A), is used to indicate
(d) ownership and security, together with destination, Revelation 7:3-Revelation 7:5 (as with the noun in Revelation 7:2; See A); the same three indications are conveyed in Ephesians 1:13, in the metaphor of the "sealing" of believers by the gift of the Holy Spirit, upon believing (i.e., at the time of their regeneration, not after a lapse of time in their spiritual life, "having also believed," not as AV, "after that ye believed;" the aorist participle marks the definiteness and completeness of the act of faith); the idea of destination is stressed by the phrase "the Holy Spirit of promise" (See also Ephesians 1:14); so Ephesians 4:30, "ye were sealed unto the day of redemption;" so in 2 Corinthians 1:22, where the Middle Voice intimates the special interest of the Sealer in His act;

I’d say here

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭9:6-7‬ ‭

it’s not like David wasn’t Christian or Enoch even

The body of Christ is eternal we just lost sight of it as mankind.

remember Enoch ?

By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:5

that’s Christianity brother saved by faith

receiving a testimony that god is well pleased with us in Christ

“for the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.”
‭‭John‬ ‭16:27‬ ‭KJV‬‬

never seeing death through faith

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:51‬ ‭KJV‬

being translated into the kingdom through his death instead of ours

“who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1:13-14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Even Enoch the seventh generation from Adam was saved by faith translated into the kingdom , never saw death like were promised in THe gospel

my point is the body of Christ has always been but he became flesh at a certain point and came to earth he’s always been in heaven the spiritual body is the one to look at

“it is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:44‬ ‭

The heavenly body is what we’re a part of in him

This is incorrect.

Since the Holy Spirit is the one who places believers into the Body of Christ (1 Cor 12:13,14) the Body of Christ could only begin on the day of Pentecost, AD 30 when the Holy Spirit was given to believers as a gift: For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one Body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. For the body is not one member, but many.

The Holy Spirit of promise could not be poured out upon "all flesh" until and unless Christ had been (a) crucified, (b) buried, (c) resurrected, (d) ascended, and (e) glorified at the right hand of the Father. Only then was the Spirit sent down to earth to create the Church, the Body of Christ. And it was both the Father and the Son who sent the Spirit. Each one is fully God, but each one has His own function within the Godhead. This was fifty days after the crucifixion of the Lamb of God on the 14th of Nisan, AD 30.

Your position eliminates Abraham from the Body of Christ. Scriptures proclaims him to the father many nations (Gen 17:4) And the father of faith pertaining to the flesh (Rom 3:27-4:25)

You're free to believe & promote whatever you choose, as am I. I'll leave it at, one again, we disagree. Best wished, JJ

No it does not. Christ took Abraham and all the OT saints with Him to the New Jerusalem on the day of resurrection. On the day of Pentecost, they all received the gift of the Holy Spirit also. Thus they became "the spirits of just men MADE PERFECT" (Hebrews 12). And they will all be in the Body of Christ after they are resurrected at the Resurrection/Rapture. The key is the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

Exactly. He had already received the Promises well before he died.

Hebrews 11:17-19 NKJV - "By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, of whom it was said, "In Isaac your seed shall be called," concluding that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense."

Let's review Nehemiah6 made-up chain of events:

The resurrected spirts that many saw walking into Jerusalem (Matt 27:51-53). Were taken to the New Jerusalem to be resurrected?

Abraham, all the Old Testament saints & all the people that believed Peter's sermon at the Acts Pentecost numbered only 3000?

Was Abraham & all the so-called OT saints also water baptized (Acts 2:41) at Pentecost?

Col 1:18 Christ is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence
(MY NOTE: Jesus is PREEMINENT in ALL things within our realm. He is the 1st resurrected from the dead & Head of the Body)

Jesus is PREEMINENT:

Creation: Jn 1:3 & 10, Col 1:16, 1 Cor 8:6, Redemption: Gal 3:13, Rev 5:9, Col 1:14, Rom3:24, Resurrection: Jn 11:25, Acts 4:33, 1 Pet 1:3 & 3:21, Mediation: 1 Tim 2:5, Heb 8:6, 9:15, 12:24, Judgment: Jn 5:22, Rom 2:16, 2 Tim 4:1.

Adam was the 1st Human; however, he can't enter into heaven until he's resurrected. Every resurrected believer officially becomes working part of the Body of Christ.

The feast of First Fruits takes place on the 16 th of Nisan (Lev 23:9-13). For aprox 1500 years Israel practiced this resurrection foreshadow.

Christ was resurrected on the feast of firstfruits (Nisan 16/Jewish Calander).

Firstfruits:
A bundle of 1st blossoms/sheaf/omer of the 1st grains was gathered. The priest (starting at the waist) lifted-up (over his head) & waved the sheaf before God. This action acknowledged & dedicated the coming harvest to the LORD. This wave/offering before/onto the LORD, sanctified the whole field of harvest to come. Christ was RAISED-UP the firstfruit of resurrection. Setting the stage for the entire human race to be resurrected.

The people we see resurrected in Matt 27:51-53 are a firstfruit wave offering unto the Father. They aren't spirits, they are in their incorruptible heavenly bodies.

At a minimum the 144,000 are part of Matt 27:51-53

Rev 14:
3 And they sang a new song before the throne [of God] and before the four living creatures and the elders; and no one could learn the song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who had been purchased (ransomed, redeemed) from the earth.
(MY NOTE: The 144-k purchased/redeemed from the earth.)

4 These are the ones who have not been defiled [by relations] with women, for they are celibate. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been purchased and redeemed from among men [of Israel] as the first fruits [sanctified and set apart for special service] for God and the Lamb
(MY NOTE: John's vision records, these 144k were purchased & redeemed from AMOUNG MEN of Israel. BEING the FIRST FRUITS set apart for special service for God & the Lamb)

The body of Christ is his church. You become part of the body by baptism into it.

Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, [a]John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband ...there is a reason its called the new Jerusalem....The saints have not yet gone marching in but they will but not yet

"About to be",,, also they themselves await ,,,as if Paul thought they awaited it like it had not taken place yet in Acts 24:15 https://biblehub.com/interlinear/acts/24-15.htm ,,,about to be,,they themselves await.... "future tense" at the time Paul made this comment...
