Yes, the USA has had it's shortcomings throughout it's history. And many of it's current citizens openly express their hatred for the country.

Despite that, there is no question that the USA is the greatest country in the world. Don't believe me? Just look at our southern border. Millions of desperate undocumented immigrants risking all to get a chance to be in the USA. And there are already tens of millions of undocumented immigrants secretely living in our country. And they desperately want to stay.

If you created 'open borders' for the USA I believe that the population would double to 700 million within the space of a year. And no, I don't have anything to back this up with. But people from all over the world would be flocking here!

Except for Europe, Canada, China, Taiwkan, Japan, and the USA, the rest of the world is a basket case when it comes to dictatorships or economics.

And, one thing to notice, is that all those who are living in this country and hate it, they sure aren't leaving. Why is that?

Just my thoughts.

I agree. And the reason for this is her founding. This nation's heritage has an undeniable Judeo-Christian influence and God was pleased to grant this nation great blessings.
And there is no reason that shouldn't be recovered if only the people of God would again call upon Him. While it is easy to enumerate the manifold problems in our nation, the blame for it lies squarely on us Christians. We can either turn again to the Almighty in humility and contrition or continue as we are.

I also would like to add to this that USA is a country blessed with abundance. The abundance that is found here, is not found anywhere else in the world.
It’s the best place to live and you have 50 states to choose from to fit your lifestyle.
Doesn‘t get better than this.

I have lived and visited many countries in Europe which have a high standard of living.
‘They can’t compare to the abundance found in the USA.

Any number of reasons for people to hate their homeland, yet remain there.

Are they to be taken seriously? There are certainly enough people breaking our immigration laws in order to get in.

Certainly, the nanny state invitation by Liberals empowered to betray our country is an obvious inducement.

My neighbor is a sign maker by trade. In their front yard they have a lighted sign that reads, WORK HARDER! VOTE DEMOCRAT! COUNTLESS ILLEGALS AND THEIR ANCHOR BABIES DEPEND ON YOU FOR THEIR LIVING! Honk if you agree!

The number of horns blaring day and night is annoying.

It's my experience those who condemn America while remaining here have never left the country to see how lucky they are.

I worked with women who were Christians. Then they converted to Islam.
Oh,they're so much happier now, they said.

One even started proselytizing. Something she never did as a Christian.

She started a blog, made YouTube videos, gave talks at universities that would have her.

Muslims are so much more peaceful. Muslim countries are so much better organized than eclectic fallen America. On and on.

One day at lunch a group of us were quite tired of her trying to lead us to Muhammad.

We decided to challenge her commitment.
It so happened the husband of one woman was a travel agent. Which is why we went this route.

We asked her why she favored Islam to Christianity.

She was thrilled to share to people who previously had no patience for that.

Then the wife of the agent asked if she'd like to visit a country where Islam and it's God's law, Sharia, was the way of life? Free of charge.
Destination, Saudi Arabia.

Oddly enough,she declined.

This was back when it was an immediate death penalty offense should a woman be caught driving there.

For some people freedom means hating America while enjoying its liberties and freedoms.
Ingrates. At the very least.

David Barton mentioned staying in 5 star hotels in Europe yet had no internet connection, here in the U.S. even Motel 6 has internet in the room.
God has been very good and has His hand on the U.S., we of the remnant must give Him thanks effusively:)(y).

Sure...you are special. I wasn't saying one people is better than another. We are all made in the image of God and have eternal value. And as Christians we are of incalculable value to God.

Still a subjective opinion. Someone else might think their country is best

Same reason you don't buy a new car if your tail light is broken. You fix the tail light.
So if you feel like there's something in America that needs to be fixed, you campaign to fix it

The U.S. is the greatest in terms of opportunity and prosperity, but I believe it is a dangerous country. Too much crime (not just a border issue but also inner city crime and other crazies, etc.). There is also a major drug problem which is pervasive (opiods, crack, meth, heroin, etc.). There are other countries especially in Asia which are much safer. Other countries also stomp down on drugs. There is also major homelessness problem in the cities, a lot of countries don't put with with tent cities, etc. Some aspects, I had to say it, are a bit third-world.

It would be more accurate to replace "is" with "was". When a country allows its internal enemies to blatantly destroy it from within, it cannot be regarded as "the greatest country" in the world. The sad truth is that the USA is now ripening for judgment, since the Constitution has been trashed and the rule of law has been replaced with anarchy and Gestapo tactics. Even some third world countries have better regulated elections than America. And no one knows how election fraud is going to alter the results next month.

Statement by Representative Chip Roy of Texas:
"Here you've got grant money, allegedly COVID grant money, that was going to this Alianza Americas group, which is tied in with Soros," the Texas Republican continued. "That's just one example of hundreds that I promise you are floating throughout our federal government, where we're using taxpayer dollars to fund the very undermining of our rule of law."

I wouldn't necessarily agree. Many people may perceive that statement as arrogant and they would happily make the same claim about the country they live in especially if they love living there.

I know a lot of people will put down Australia because of it's history and that it was once designated as a penal colony for criminals sent from Britain. But most people don't know that Australia was once called the Great Southland of the Holy Spirit. But I don't claim it is the best. It does have a lot of great things going for it which are sorely lacking or missing in the USA. Such as better working conditions and fair treatment of employees as a standard including higher pay for even the most basic of jobs. Free healthcare for all Australians and generous welfare for the elderly and disabled. One thing I'm glad is missing is a high rate of mass shootings from an over abundance of guns.

Despite this, I'm not patriotic about being an Australian, sure I'll celebrate Australia day, I'll honour the diggers and soliders, those people who fought and died for the freedom that I now enjoy. I like living here. Sure it has it's problems like any country, but overall, many who come here find it's a nice place to live and would like to stay if they could.

But the truth is, I am an alien. I live in the world but I am not part of it for this is no longer my home anymore. I am a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven. That is now my home. That is the only thing I am patriotic about.

The sign is dripping sarcasm... Funny that Democrats who are honking are so dull minded as to honk! Hahaha

Next time you hear a honk, just remind yourself of the idiocy of some liberals.

Some might think the US would fight against the tribulation govt when it comes in. I would say that's probably one of the main reasons it's being trashed from within. It needs to be monetarily & spiritually bankrupt before this happens.
If all countries turn to the Antichrist when he shows up, they must be corrupted within before doing so.
As Amosathar mentioned, Australia is a pretty good nation, too. That's why they were more manipulated with the Covid Lie than we(US) were.
Canada used to be a good country also, but look what happened in a few years.

Ya know what's kinda funny, and at the same time a bit encouraging?

Probably 25- 30 % of the American Christians here identify as Democrat. And in past election cycles MANY of them made their voices heard on any thread that had a hint of being political.

Now, it is RARE to see them chime in, in defense of that party.

A shame that it took :

1. The humiliating defeat in Afghanistan

2. $4.00 - $6.00 gas

3. Transgender EVERYTHING, including giving small children puberty blockers, and attendance at perverse Trans events.

4. Foreign policy literally putting us in REAL danger of nuclear war.

5. Inflation/interest rates at 40 yr highs

6. Forced inoculation.

7. Gestapo style FBI/ Justice dept. on political opponents.

8. Assassination attempts and harassment of SCOTUS

9. DISASTER on illegal immigration.

Just to name a few of the Dem. disasters.

For them to quietly go away, and hopefully even change their mind and vote.

I have NEVER understood, how on policy issues alone, a professed Christian could support Democrats. But now it seems the evil is too breathtaking to ignore any longer .

I just hope it's not too little too late.
