Just remember, you’re conversing with someone who states they no longer sin ~ ever.
really?

that is not at all what has been said in this thread

God sees us as sinless in His Son...no one has ever said in this thread that once you believe you no longer sin

very poor reading skills being exhibited by some people

just go back...even the beginning if you have to...and pinpoint just one single time ANYONE here ever said we are now sinless

we have been accused of saying that, but it simply is not at all true

You love to fight.

That's pathetic. When you can't understand a simple question you're right. Why post one to you.
you know, my grandfather had an expression. the wise one stops arguing

there is less than zero chance of making a dent in that self righteous armor

Whether your question was simple or not, it was garbled enough to not be understood.
Nonsense.
You understood well enough to infer the question was a slight against you. And then went on the offensive.
You like to argue.

Maybe someone else here is better read.
Polar is right. This nonsense with you is over.

To other members here. Are there those who post here who also claim Jesus was a mere man born with a sin nature though he chose not to sin?

Well, when you lie that's a sin.

You should consider taking time away from the boards so to actually read the entire New Testament. Paying particular attention to the Gospel.

When is anyone completly sanctified?
Justification is instant.

But becoming like Jesus (perfect) is the work of Jesus in us.

The righteousness of Christ, is imputed and imparted, without which we would have no hope of salvation
First, there is the imputed righteousness of Christ, which is what Jesus has done for us, the righteousness that covers us and that is our title to heaven (justification). Second, there is the imparted righteousness of Christ, which is what He does in us, through the Holy Spirit, to mold us into His image (sanctification).

Jesus is continuing to shape and mold me and i don't think I'm going to be perfect anytime soon.
When they're eternally secure in Christ sanctification proceeds peacefully in the assurance of Christ's protection, love and guidance.

Legally sinless, but God isn’t blind. He knows when a Christian sins and by definition that makes someone a sinner. The difference is that sin isn’t charged to their account and via their grace through face and won’t be punished in accordance with God’s judgements against those sins.

Let’s be clear about something, God hasn’t changed. The God of the Old Testament is the very same God of the New Testament. I highly recommend you get to know Him.

God sees us as sinless in His Son...
God has declared us righteous theough Christ. That does not mean God sees us as sinless. If He did, there would be no need to confess our sins ans ask for forgiveness.

Try again Einstein. I asked them directly, yes or no, do you still sin and they evaded the question several times. That means they deny ever sinning. Don’t come swinging at me without knowing what you’re talking about.

There’s no need for me to take time to read the entire Bible on your dime. All you have to do is answer the question I’ve post several times to you; do you ever seen, yes or no?

On my dime? How foolish. Eternity is on your dime.

That's why reading the NT & Gospel should be a priority.

To answer your question, since you don't know that answer. The core of the Gospel and supporting scriptures make it clear.

The Christian is not a sinner.

Now, you'll go off on that I realize.

That's OK too.

It will just reiterate you haven't read the New Testament or the Good News of Christ.

But you should. It's your dime. Eternally.😊💞✝️🙏🕊️

I don't know who the 'they' are and you have not provided any post that shows what you say

Neither myself nor the op have ever said we are sinless...we have only stated that scripture says God sees us as sinless through His Son if we belong to Him

see, I know that no one who understands what it means to be seen as sinless by God in His Son has not said we are sinless

you sound like a teen age punk who has been backed into a corner and is angry about it

you swung at yourself by showing you are just blowing smoke

God does not see us as sinless. We are declared righteous through Christ. That is not the same as God seeing us as sinless.

exactly

it is alarming the amount of people who do not comprehend these major truths of scripture and continue to call themself a sinner

from the nastiness of some of the posts, I would have to agree with that

I see Teddy does not understand what people are saying here either

if you do not understand what is being said, you do not actually understand salvation as presented in scripture

I think you misunderstood what TMS is saying. He does not believe salvation for Christians is permanent. If I understand him correctly, he knows justification is instant, but once a person is justified, he must work towards becoming sanctified, and he believes a person must stay in a sanctified state in order to be saved. (apologies if I misunderstood you, @TMS .)

And I don't answer questions I don't understand. So if you're not interested in clarifying, why bother posting to anyone?
that's complete nonsense

the op has clarified numerous times as have myself and several others

your posts are tasteless examples of someone who is wrong, might even know it, but refuses to acknowledge they were wrong

2 things are being said:

1. We identify in Christ which by its connection to Him has us robed in His perfect and sinless righteousness.

2. We still sin because we have yet to achieve this status fully.

Both ideas can coexist.

I came to Christ after an angel preached gospel to me. I was also given spiritual gifts to exercise. Glory to God.

that explains it

you think you are Paul 2.0

not surprised. it really does enlighten us as to why you are so self righteous and argumentative and deny what the Bible plainly states

frankly, I would renounce that so called angel who told you that you are a sinner and salvation only continues when you work for it

thanks for letting us know.
