Talking about mental health issue does not make you WEAK. It’s actually an act of courage.
Speaking up when struggling is not “attention seeking”. It’s someone seeking support.

I am recently on medicare and they wanted I should get check up. I tell them I had complete check up and was told to quit smoking due to Bronchitis. Finally quit around 2017. Check up was 1989. Medicare folks and I had good LOL. Now I switched to Aetna this year and again we LOL. Probably more than genetics at work since also used AA 1989. May possibly be some mental health aspect to 12 steps. Seems that would be some what of a challenge to determine. Difficult to get accurate statistics I would think. Don't know which is next coming first, check up or check out. lol

Hmmm. Mental health issues are one thing... but how much is due to the chemical activity in the body being messed up, like hormones? Number one men's health issue I know of is the bizarre drop in testosterone over the last few decades. Someone actually put together stats on it. It's dropped almost in half. The average guy has like half the hormones he's supposed to have. Which explains a lot unfortunately. :\ In the natural state (garden of Eden?) men have more than twice as much testoterone as they do now. See here: https://testosteronedecline.com/do-hunter-gatherers-have-high-testosterone/ I believe it's due to pollutant chemicals in the food and water mostly, and also junk food diet. And getting back to mental health, depression is sometimes a matter of low testosterone. Pretty similar symptoms at times. Also anxiety, hypersensitivity, upset, these are all things that a high testosterone guy typically has less issues with. I hope everyone gets their hormones where God intends them to be.
