Revelation 3:5 English Standard Version 5 The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will never blot his name out of the book of life. I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels.

Such a beautiful image for the names listed in the Book of Life. I find such heartwarming comfort with the actions of our Savior.

He says He will confess our names before the Father and His angels.

“I will confess”

A verb of action, a deliberate intercession on our behalf.

Homologéō the transliteration of “I will confess”.

Meaning to voice the same conclusion.

Origin homologos Homo- the same Logos- word or reason also a declaration of the 2nd member of the trinity. The Word that became flesh. (John 1:1-14)

Of one mind will Jesus confess our names to the Father. One mind, one deity. John 10:30 (ESV) 30 I and the Father are one.”

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are three different manifestations of God throughout the Bible, starting in Genesis 1.

We can rest in the assurance that the same one who holds the book of life is on one accord and one mind will confess in the agreement of your salvation. Let us have great joy unto the day of redemption.
