That was awesome as is God's great creative diversity in everything! Love happy endings, lol.
I was waiting for the momma goat to go pick it up by the scruff of the neck. Then it's like, Oh no, he's gonna drown!
But it was a happy ending. I always admired the Mountain Goats. I used to have a poster of one as a teenager. It later ended up in our classroom.

That is so cool!
My question was about the CO2. The article said that it got that from decomposition. That's a long term experiment every plant scientist would envy!

It seems unbelievable. But in nature there are trees that are many thousands of years old so?? I was just reading commentaries on Isaiah 11:1 and accordingly Cedars once cut down will not send up any shoots but oak does. I am almost sure species of pine also survive thousands of years. BTW honey I use without limit & no problems. Also DNR in Illinois fences off certain areas so deer don't eat tree stump shoots. Maybe just small scale testing.

I'd like to see see what those cedars of Lebanon looked like. The giant California redwoods sure are amazing aren't they?

Lebanon is now in serious bad condition in every way it seems. Their flag is nice with the cedar tree. Maybe there still are some of those trees? I never bothered to go check out the Redwoods when there. Too busy drinking. Even some of those trees might be in danger if the drought keeps up. Claim they can handle a lot of fire but say shallow root system and support is by mutual intertwining of roots.
