snob/racist - especially towards your own race!! lol
or calls you a 'babe' instead of your actual name.

why do men do that.

Women arent babies.
and besides, I might be older than you think. I dont take infantilising me to be a compliment

oh I don't think my future hubby calling me babe is a bad thing, actually I'd like it. I mean around Europe it's used a lot in a good and loving way so maybe its a culrural thing...

Of course, if we're not yet married then there should be a level of intimacy for him to call me babe :D

Idk, here calling a spouse babe doesnt mean infantilising that person, just another loving nick name to call someone you love.

God bless your heart Lanolin!

My neighbour used to call me silly sausage. I only found out later after he died that he called everyone silly sausage. I just thought he was making fun of my name.

I would tell MY aunty not to call me baby - I would get angry, and spell out my real name

My mum laughed at this. I also REALLY didnt like when she called me a baby as well.

My older sister never had that problem, She just got called 'girl' lol

1) Enslaved to an addiction and think it's not a problem
2) Don't take responsibility for what they should
3) Never admit (or believe) they're wrong
4) Driven by wildly variable emotions
5) Dishonesty / avoiding things that need to be talked about
6) After a certain point (like you're talking about getting engaged not like after the first date), holding on to an escape plan in case the relationship doesn't work out. If they have another option in reserve they aren't all in.
7) Lack of follow through / not dependable
8) In a hurry to get to physical intimacy without building a personal or emotional connection first.

Well said

Maybe we could both put down our red flags and accept Jesus into our lives

Oh sorry, as the title is “Christian singles” I thought it was the forum for singles and relationship topics.
You can talk about relationships here. We talk about them all the time from a singles perspective. You’re doing just fine.
