Oh and one more, anyone who uses the idea of you proving your love for them as a way to manipulate your actions.

-Someone who doesn’t respect boundaries and tries to keep pushing.

-A man who is reluctant to lead and doesn’t understand his biblical role as a man/husband/father.

-Someone who hasn’t worked on their past traumas.

-Someone who mentions their ex repeatedly on dates.

It's not the giphys. It's just what I see of you from what you post in the different threads.

its ok to be angry sometimes krumbeard

when you have something to be angry about...women can express it in a healthy way. But they dont literally bash people up the way men do.

I think men dont understand that and they need to otherwise they'll end up in jail and the women usually end up in hospital

the whole thing with red flags is that you dont go there. Even the Bible says this with an angry man do not go. For women this is very dangerious they could be killed or seriously harmed.

Well I'm no longer single, but I did learn a few things along the way.

The biggest red flags for me are;

Comes on strong; For example, says I love you before she even knows me.

It's all about her; For example, demands I prove I am worthy of her time.

Is rude or insensitive towards anyone.

Demanding, has to have it her way.

Any of these is a no go for me, and I hope for any woman considering if a man is worth pursuing.

Building a good relationship is all about getting to know one-another. No one can be sure what kind of person they just met aside from any red flags that may be exposed.

A quiet man or woman may be shy, or uninterested. But a person who makes big promises right from the start is always a liar.

An honest man will never pledge his undying love to someone he does not know. Only a user does that.

A player knows how to appeal to a woman's ego, he knows how to play her, thus the title.

You may be a princess but he can't know that if he doesn't know you very well. It's as simple as that.

I agree it's okay to be angry sometimes.

I don't personally know anyone that bashes women when they are angry.

But I know it happens and I would agree that it's definitely a red flag, it's wrong.

Friends and spouses are usually "self fulfilling" extensions of your self image that reinforce your self image.

If you feel inferior you only associate with those that are the dregs of society.

If you see yourself as "entitled elite" you only hang out with others who are movers and shakers.

If you feel the need to be abused you hang out with abusers...

That's how it works...that's how it always works.

one of the fruits of the holy spirit is temperance (or self control)

Its admittedly one of the hardest and last to be cultivated, but you need it to get along with people. If you are always losing your temper or patience with someone thats not going to be easy and you will have a hard life.

if you marry someone, you will have to live with them until they die. Thats the promise. Some people dont actually want to do that, they hope the other person will die first.

Someone approached me at work.
One red flag I got was when she told me that her boyfriend wouldn't be out of prison for six months, so we should get together.

NO way Gomer.
Oh come on...you don't want to be the disposable boyfriend that has an ex con wanting to get revenge for stealing his girl?

How utterly common!

Gomer was a whorish woman that the prophet Hosea married in response to the one time God commanded the following because His people "hath committed great whoredom, departing from the LORD."
  1. 1 The word of the LORD that came unto Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.
  2. 2 The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the LORD.
  3. 3 So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim; which conceived, and bare him a son.
