1 Cor. 1:7 (LSB) "So that you are not lacking in any gift, eagerly awaiting the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ."

The revelation of Jesus Christ was all about the final judgment against the harlot nation of Israel for having broken the covenant to pieces, and for having killed the Son of God, the Lord of all creation. Once the TEMPLE with all its laws, sacrifices, and priesthood was destroyed, all the types and shadows were fulfilled by Yeshua Himself with nothing left to fulfill. At this point, the new covenant agreement would officially be released to the ends of the earth just as the Lord promised Abraham back in Gen. 12:3. (See add'l. scriptures Gen 22:18; 26:4; 28:14; Acts 3:25; Gal 3:8).

So, I can't possibly think that Paul was speaking about the Lord's final return to judge the living and the dead in this verse-- because his words are not indicative of such an event. He was simply saying that he was eagerly waiting for the revelation of Jesus Christ (Rev. 1:1) --- through judgment against a bride-turned-harlot.

When the temple was destroyed in A.D. 70, all who were under the law (and not under grace), by necessity had to be judged for having broken the covenant to no recognition and for having failed to fulfill the law of Moses.

So, the fact that they refused the grace of Messiah (Titus 2:11) and rejected Him to the point of crucifying Him, God moved in to destroy those who were not only rebellious but also for having been murderous at heart despite the fact that the Father had proven beyond any doubt His abundant love for them.

This in totally incorrect. Paul was addressing Christians and ENCOURAGING THEM. He was speaking about the revelation of Christ at the Resurrection/Rapture. Christ will come for His saints personally and Paul was addressing the saints. This has nothing to do with judgment on any entity.

Also there is no need to speak of the Lord Jesus Christ as "Yeshua our Messiah". The Church primarily consists of Gentiles, and the whole world knows about the Lord Jesus Christ.

The so-called "rapture" is nothing but a repetition of the false teachings of John Darby and fallacious C.I. Scofield who began to destroy the integrity of the scriptures by adding their own interpretations that most of the church has swallowed up hook, line, and sinker-- even to the point that people like you are simply repeating verbatim what you have been taught.

Let's learn how to read the scriptures according to their proper context. 😎

The revelation of Jesus Christ was all about the final judgment
No, we are not eagerly awaiting the Judgement.

No, we are not eagerly awaiting the Tribulation.

We are eagerly awaiting our rapture, glorification, marriage, and return to Earth with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

You are very brave. I think very few know the history of what they believe in regards to Revelation but I fear few will take the time to find out.

I have studied revelation for a long, long time. I. have heard all kinds of explanations, but all of them sounded hollow because they didn't deal with the fact that this book was not written TO US, but for the 1st-century church. Yet, most people ignore the context and the prophecies that Jesus made about the temple and its destruction. Once the temple came down just as Jesus said (40 years later), suddenly, the law was officially no longer in effect, but those who were under the law were judged for having rejected the One who gave it to them. But, once the temple came down, Israel fizzled into nothing because their only escape from judgment was to come to the Lord, but they wouldn't.

You, like millions of Christians, think and believe that this book was written for our future, but fail to understand that it was their future, not ours that John wrote it to. Revelation has been fulfilled, but the principle of this warfare remains where the Lord handles principalities and powers for His own purpose, while all along you guys are playing with the "toys of the future", He has moved on to continue to let His gospel convict and save those who believe.

You are being left behind and you don't even know it.

You don't even know what's the real meaning of the term "Gentiles." If you believe yourself to be one of them, you are not part of the body of the Messiah. And while you believe that the Jews are still chosen, you forget that no one can be chosen outside of Christ.

I could correct all your errors, but I can see you are not interested.

Actually, I believe as you do. So I'm not worried about being left behind. Revelation 1:1 is the context and it fits perfectly well with Luke 24 and Matthew 23. I said you were brave because very few on this site believe this way and the responses are likely to be negative.

Good, good, good. I'm so happy you have not been duped by the futurists of today. As for your comment about being brave, I have dealt with them for years in the discussion group called Disqus, but it was all in vain. Here is a little different... ha, ha, ha.

There is a good book on this subject called Days of Vengeance by a man named Chisholm I believe. It's on the internet and can be downloaded for free.

the gentiles were grafted in.

Abraham was told " all the nations shall be blessed by your Seed".
