I think Christians have a weird obsession with homosexuality. Why be that pressed over something that has no effect on you or your life? The Bible also says gluttony is a sin but I bet you're not going to a buffet and slapping a donut out of someone's hand
All sin affects society.

When sin is part of an agenda and organized then it becomes a threat to Christianity.

Lots of arguments going back and forth about 'Gay Marriage'. Obviously the secular world (politicians/LGBTers/non-Christians) support gay marriage, homosexuality, and all the tenets of the LGBT movement. On the other hand, Jesus and Scripture make it clear that marriage is only between a man and a woman and that homosexuality is an abomination in God's sight.

So, to make the issue simple and straightforward, all you have to do is choose whose teachings you're going to follow, the secularists/LGBTers,politicians or Jesus' and God's teaching in the Scripture.

i'll follow Joshua's thoughts, "As for me and my family, I'll follow the Lord and His teachings."

It's a simple and straightforward choice.

One thing though; if you do choose to follow Jesus and the Lord's teachings, then stand fast and be prepared for the persecution that is sure to come, just around the corner.

When sin is considered natural it effects everyone. My sister picked up a kid from school needing a ride home. She said from the moment the child got in the van all they wanted to talk about was their sexuality. When they finally got out of the vehicle my sister said to her son "Is that all she talks about?! Her sexuality?!" My nephew said "Mom, that's a guy". Sin becomes accepted and normalized, it's wrong. Society will not stand when abortion, homosexuality, transgenderism is considered normal. Watch and see. If you ask my nephews if they have girlfriends they will both tell you they cannot find anyone who is straight. Why? Because it's become more than natural, now it's a fad. Ever Bill Maher says how is it now possible that everyone you meet is either trans or gay? It's nonsense. The young crypto guy that was just caught funding the DNC had a house full of people, and all of them were having sex with each other. Sin then becomes natural, and then when you don't accept their POV you become the bigot, the person in the wrong. You must accept my lifestyle. No, I don't nor will I. I can separate the person from the sin, but I'm not going to accept a lifestyle that is counter to what the Bible says. I don't want it taught to my children as natural, you're not going to attend my church and say it is natural, I'm not watching a program that says it is natural, it is not. It is a mis-use of sex as God intended it to be.

Well here comes the issue. Our friend here claims to be a Christian and says that his lifestyle is natural and not wrong. He even has some great re-visionist talking points to back up his claim. We never thought that gay marriage would become accepted in America. Now homosexuality is being pushed in churches. And soon, just like the baker, what you believe won't matter. If you won't do gay marriages or accept that lifestyle as just another form of love the gov't will shut you down. If you preach your beliefs, you will end up in a prison cell. If you mis-gender a person, you will lose your job, just as the teacher did near me. Then sin becomes the law of the land and as many societies that have come before us have found out, a society like that will not last.

According to pastor Dude, it's the same as overeating at a Thanksgiving dinner or buffet, so you're over reacting. Take a chill pill....it ONLY murder and perversion. 🙄
Both are victimless actions. A person eating too much at a buffet is a victimless action and two same-sex people getting married is also a victimless action

No Dude, you're wrong. Sin is not victimless. Homosexuality is un-natural and it is sin. And it will be pushed until every church must agree and accept it as right. It simply isn't right.

Persecuted people have a tendency to organize to combat persecution. Did you happen to read and/or see the news about the mass murder at an LGBTQ club in Colorado Springs? So, who is threatened?

That's a link. Did you happen to get a look at what was going on?
Some in this Thread claim the desire to be homosexual is an inherent trait.

So why are they trying to influence children?

If it's natural you don't need to influence someone.

And still, they are doing what they can to influence young minds.

They are Demonic and perverted and severely mentally twisted.

Thinking Christians who obey Jesus' command to love your neighbor as yourself. It is unChristian to attack a group of people because of their sin unless one attacks all who sin.

The poster is saying homosexuality isn't sin, it is. Telling someone the truth of the Word is not attacking. Gays are pushing to be accepted in the church as "normal" it is not, it is sin. My pastor just told a couple in our church that were living together and had gotten pregnant that they were living in sin. Some of the women in the church wanted to give them a baby shower. Our pastor spoke to them about their situation and they got offended and left. Sin is sin is sin.
