We believe and with ours eyes have not see,we have felt Him and have not been touched.
We hear His voice, yet not a word has been spoken, all worship we are to give to Him,yet we loose nothing.
For in seeking Him ,we are found, by knocking at the door it was opened for us.
and in asking of Him , we have received our sight.

Understanding 'Poetic License', do you know if the author was referring to some Bible verse in the excerpt? Assume so.

Posted here are 'some' verses that make me think the author had a Bible verse in mind when writing as the excerpt brought that to mind. And now it is interesting to see what the KJV version shows regarding 'knocking at door' and 'door' references.
Seems there is indication in these verses as to who gets in and who is turned away.
There are more verses with 'door' and verses with 'knock' or 'knocking' or 'knocked' are few if any more than here listed which seem likely to be considered.

Luke 11:7 And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee.

Luke 13:25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Acts 12:13 And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a damsel came to hearken, named Rhoda.

Acts 14:27 And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.

Revelation 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Matthew 7:7 ¶ Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Luke 11:9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

So was there one of those verses in particular you were thinking of and if so which? If you don't recall or don't want to say that's ok.

Eyes not seen…parallel…we have received our sight

Consider a little refinement of ….all worship we are to give to Him,yet we loose nothing….not sure what this means

maybe add a parallell to not being touched?
