Scripture indicates we get a new heaven and a new earth.
Probably because we will need it.

instead of waging war.
Isaiah 41:1 Keep silence before me, O islands; and let the people renew their strength: let them come near; then let them speak: let us come near together to judgment.2 Who raised up the righteous man from the east, called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made him rule over kings? he gave them as the dust to his sword, and as driven stubble to his bow.>>>>>>>>>>

15 Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff. 16 Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in the LORD, and shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel.

I think it might be due to crazies like Greg Locke, Kenneth copeland, westboro baptist,
Or charlatans like Joel osteen. It gives Christianity a bad name
Also the sheer volume of antivaxx and political rhetoric coming out of the chirch today as if those things were the gospel message. That along side of legalism and condemnation with how the world is going to evaporate because of the antichrist in the next minute its a wonder why the church still exists at all.

The message is getting twisted and contorted into meaning things that it never was supposed to mean.
Instead of "Jesus loves you " meaning just that it instead means: "Don't get vaccinated, Death to baby killers and perverts, only vote republican, and we hate anyone who doesn't comply"

I don't think that Jesus ever intended the message that is getting spread today.

Psalm 122
A song of ascents. Of David.
1 I rejoiced with those who said to me,
“Let us go to the house of the Lord.”
2 Our feet are standing
in your gates, Jerusalem.
3 Jerusalem is built like a city
that is closely compacted together.
4 That is where the tribes go up—
the tribes of the Lord—
to praise the name of the Lord
according to the statute given to Israel.
5 There stand the thrones for judgment,
the thrones of the house of David.
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
“May those who love you be secure.
7 May there be peace within your walls
and security within your citadels.”
8 For the sake of my family and friends,
I will say, “Peace be within you.”
9 For the sake of the house of the Lord our God,
I will seek your prosperity.

I think this is making a mountain out of a molehill. No one is going to just heart worshiping Satan because they saw a joke on the movie.
Also some people might find things blasphemous or offensive but the first amendment is still a thing. This isn't Saudi Arabia
Also how does someone being blasphemous effect you and your faith?
I know I've mentioned this a few times here but Satanism is largely an imaginary threat.
A man runs into an airport with a bomb strap to his chest. Let's take a bet on what he yells before he explodes... Hail Satan or Aluha Akbar
I would bet you my entire paycheck this week on the latter

Disney is down about 60% over the last two years. So I agree with you, I do think this is a joke, and I am laughing.

I think anyone hiring a nanny and that appreciates her making jokes about loving Satan by all means will have no qualms with putting their little kids in front of Disney movies.

I have a better bet, you try and get a job as a nanny saying Hail Satan and let us know how that works out for you.

Or since you already have a job, why not do a promotion at your restaurant with a big "We Love Satan" sign and see how that works out?

Well yeah because that's how the free market works. But I feel like we've already had this conversation on other threads
But the sky isn't falling because someone made a joke on a movie

Simply a heads up to the believers. I would never put my kids in front of Disney movie again, even though in the past I did.

I suspect the owner of your restaurant is not willing to risk his business by making that same joke. One wonders why a company whose business is to provide Family friendly films for kids would think their business wouldn't be destroyed by this joke.

I am not all worried about the sky falling, God is on the throne.

Rev 2:13 I know where you live—where Satan has his throne.

God knows what is going on.

Rev 4:5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder. In front of the throne, seven lamps were blazing.

The lamps of the church are blazing exposing this corruption.

Yeah I already said that. Because that's how the free market works
So if my manager put up a sign that said hell satan, we would be out of business probably overnight
My response is to the guy in the video who's having a meltdown over a joke.
My question to him would be if his faith is that strong then why is he threatened by something he thinks is blasphemous?

Ooooh, so they can make this "joke" but if anyone want to highlight it then they are the ones who are triggered. Whatever happened to "say it loud, say it proud"?

He's obviously triggered because he felt the need to make an entire video complaining about it
But conservatives call liberals snowflakes.
He sounds like those people who go around pretending they're not allowed to say Merry Christmas

You mean complaining about Disney making a family movie that is about a holiday that pretends to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ the savior on the birthday of a Babylonian God who prefigures the AntiChrist?

Looks from here, lack of Godly moral foundation leads to a lot of ignorant posts.
You can't end with a valid conclusion when your major premise is in error.
Anyone see that as well?
Best wishes:):coffee::unsure:(y)
