(Phil 4:6) This of course takes practice like everything else does. You just cannot worry about what you have no control of. Point 1. Point 2 What good does crying do anyway??? Why would you allow your stomach to be tied up in knots, how does this help us?? It never does! I know I know!!! But Jesus was never in my situation!!
Many of us are going through some real hard times, behind in our bills, not enough food on our table, and least of all having enough money to buy Christmas gifts for others we care about. You can just do what you can do brothers and sisters. If others do not understand, then they really are not your so-called friends anyway!
I know how easy this is to say, and this is why Jesus tells our minds to only consider what is good! (Phil 4:7-9) If one is always looking for something bad to happen you are using your faith in the wrong way, because 9 times out of ten you receive what you are expecting!! Remember Faith can work in both ways!!(Heb 11:1) I am not looking to pull a Joel Osteen belief, but at the same time does Jesus not know and understand our situation?? Relax!!
You are learning first how to trust, then learning the result of that trust I have found in my 70 years that trust very much like faith takes some very hard work on our part to keep our minds from fear and worry. It's worth the times you take to stay in God's Word rather than ponder our present situation.
This has helped me brothers and sisters, I hope this will help you all as well to stay the course no matter what things look like, or even what others have told you. Do not hang around people who always complain!! Remember faith comes by hearing (Rom 10:17) and lack of faith can also come by hearing!! So, mind the people you hang with!! These are just some things that helped me greatly, and I know this will help you to consider the same thing. Blessing all!!
