I stood for truth at a time when I had much to lose. I lost much of it and was accused of being a divider. But yet in whispers was told thank you for showing the image of Christ. Nevertheless, it didn't stop losing what I had. If you stand for truth, it will divide, but we must be humble enough to accept reproof when we need it.

We as humans are not omniscient, but God is all-knowing. Life or death is at stake, as lies can easily lead to physical and spiritual death. For the speaker of truth, it must be painstakingly studied, thought out, tested, and wrestled with until every word carries the truth with it.

Every counter-thought must take equal thought until one triumphs as being more accurate.

Seek legitimate confidence based on a solid foundation and not confidence simply out of ignorance or arrogance.

Each may provide a fire, but one will consume while the other lights the way.

Be careful out there.

One thing that I have found out over many years is, the scriptures will not harmonize, if you study with the mindset that you are smart enough to figure them out, because the Holy Spirit within you will not reveal scriptures to harmonize, else you would give all of the praise and honour to yourself, instead of giving it to God. You must first humble yourself and pray that the Holy Spirit within you would reveal the truths of the scriptures.

Adrian Rogers has been generally biblical anytime I have heard his preaching. While there has always been a war against truth, today it has become extremely intense. There is a daily barrage of lies from (1) the politicians, (2) the bureaucrats, (3) the mainstream media, (4) college and university professors, (5) Hollywood celebrities, (6) Big Tech and (7) false pastors, false teachers, false apostles, and false prophets. But those who are totally committed to God's truth will be easily able to separate the truth from the lies. And there will be very few who are in fact united in truth.

The Lord wants us to be humble before Him, and to seek his truth that he has put in scripture with prayer, listening to the holy spirit, and study. But. We can use this to sever relationships with others that we need to have to belong to the Lord and serve him.

We are told to accept others, and not to argue, but replace evil with truth and good.

yes, the attack against the Bible and Biblical truth have never been more intense.

I believe the scriptures do harmonize but yes with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Well, scripture does tell us that narrow is the way and few will find it.

I dont know who Adrian Rogers is but Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, nobody comes to the Father except through Him.

I don’t know who Adrian is but this does sound right to me and my belief that despite many denominations, everyone is correct in seeking Truth in their own ways In-Christ.

This has always been the case from the first day that the church has existed, but there will always be a witness for the truth, until Christ returns to gather his elect.

We are, also, told to give an answer to every person that asks us of the hope that is within us.

I don't know if you agree with me, or not, but I believe the scriptures of the two gates in Matt 7: 13-14 to teach that the people that go into both of the gates are elect children of God.

Those that go into the wide gate is the part of the house of Israel, that have turned away from God and are worshiping the idol of themselves, teaching, and preaching eternal deliverance is accomplished by good works. (Zeph 3:11-13).

Those that go into the straight gate that leads them to that abundant, and joyful life as they sojourn here on earth, are the remnant of the house of Israel.

Ezk 10: speaks of a wheel within a wheel, which, to me, the outer wheel represents the invisible church of the elect, and the smaller inner wheel represents the visible church of the elect. This, to me, harmonizes with the two gates in Matt 7:13-14.

narrow gate- 100% with no doubt and no hope in self trust Christ for salvation.

wide gate- ranging from non-believers to those who name the name of Christ but do not fully trust and believe in Him.

does not matter the reason. not trusting Christ to the utmost will not work for entry into the Kingdom.

I've observed two equally wrong extremes. On one hand are those who strive for unity regardless of doctrinal errors or heresy. For this group unity must be attained at all costs. On the other are those who strictly cling to doctrine and theology. These are those who tend toward legalism and the letter. Between these two extremes is truth.

Truth calls for unity but not at the expense of sound doctrine. It also warns against legalism and the letter. Truth is the great balancer between love and doctrine. Jesus warned the Ephesian church: "I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars; and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary. Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent. But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate." Revelation 2:2-6
