I am happy to know that one day we will be in the presence of the Lord ... see Him in all His glory ... and live together with Him in eternity in new heaven new earth wherein righteousness dwells.

Revelation 22:1-5 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

A friend once told me that God may not give us what we want, but He gives us what we need -- including life lessons that might be painful.

If this is what God felt I've needed the past 18 months, then I'm thankful He brought me through and hope I am grasping the lessons He's trying to teach me.
I have been having some growing pains also. I think we will appreciate Heaven all the more for them. I have learned to trust Him. He is teaching me to let go and let Him have His way with me.

God bless you, dear sister.

I am happy to know that I am able to approach the throne of grace and speak freely in order to receive mercy and find grace in time of need (and I don't know about you all, but my need is multiple times every day) ...

Hebrews 4:14-16 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Yes, thank you for sharing! We don't have to sacrifice a lamb. The sacrifice has been made for us!

I am happy to know that there is a time coming when God will wipe all tears away. God has blessed me so much in this lifetime ... but I have had times of trial and heartbreak where I have ended up in tears before Him. God, in His infinite love, gives us great hope of that time when all the sufferings, heartache, pain, afflictions will be removed, and we shall stand before Him with great joy and rejoicing ...

Isaiah 25:8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.

Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Psalm 126:5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

Romans 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

I am so, so thankful for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ ... what a blessed Savior
.

We use to sing a song back in the day that went like this...

He has made me glad, he has made me glad. I will rejoice for He has made glad.

Of course there was more, based off Scripture. I miss many of those old songs we use to sing. Thanks for sharing what makes you Happy in the Lord.

Since we're on the subject:

And when I think that God, His Son not sparing
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in
That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing
He bled and died to take away my sin...

I don't know why they skip that verse. I would rather hear the hymns than songs that seem to be stuck on repeat. But I've always felt that way. I grew up on the hymns and can't understand why some churches have done away with them.

I was singing this song yesterday!!! Of course, in my mind, I sounded like Carrie Underwood or Lauren Daigle ... so glad God tells us to just make a joyful noise unto Him cuz I surely don't sing like Carrie or Lauren!!!

Psalm 95:1-6 O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

There are 2 places my singing sounds much better: in my head and at a fair distance.

I will give thanks to the Lord, with all my heart.
I will tell about Thy wonders.
I will be glad and exult in Thee.

I will sing praise to Thy name, O most high
And rejoice in Thy salvation.
I will be glad and exult in Thee.

I will trust in you my God who delivered me.
And lifted me from the gates of death.
I will be glad and exult in Thee.

Yesterday I was in a unique mood late at night til about 2am. Was neat and something like a present in that I felt like I got attention in prayer that normally is theologized rather than felt so yeah I'm happier than usual for sure.
