If the Earth were truly a globe, the Arctic and Antarctic polar regions and areas of comparable latitude North and South of the equator should share similar conditions and characteristics such as comparable temperatures, seasonal changes, length of daylight, plant and animal life. In reality, however, the Arctic/Antarctic regions and areas of comparable latitude North/South of the equator differ greatly in many ways entirely inconsistent with the ball model and entirely consistent with the flat model.

RaceRunner must think EXACTLY like Eric Dubay.

There is no discussion with flat earthers, they are just the messengers.

Why should/would it upset me...?
I know you like to present only infallible proofs, and this is sort of conjecture. It's evidence of how light and night/day might work, rather than proof of how it does work.

And you let her go???:eek::eek:
I still love her, but all her talk about flat earth and conspiracies was taxing my patience. The effect of believing all that stuff is that she withdrew from the world - withdrew from church, withdrew from friends, just hides away in her bedroom. The pandemic just accelerated her paranoia. She was telling me not to get the vaccine, "they'll be tracking your every move", she ended up in the hospital and they gave her a shot and she was very upset about that!
She can be a very kind and loving person, very honest, with a burning desire to know God's word; she inspired me to get more serious about my Bible study. Right now, though, the mental illness is control.

Wow. That is terrible. It sounds like she was institutionalised for speaking the truth. Very sad. :(

I suggest that you listen a little more closely. This stuff is not just the future. It is here. Many countries have begun to institute this.

Time to stop patronizing and start listening. She may end up saving your life (and possibly your eternity.)

No, she chooses to hide away.
"[...] she ended up in the hospital and they gave her a shot and she was very upset about that!" It's not my business and I'm not trying to upset you, but that doesn't sound consensual. No different to rape in my view, if my understanding is correct. Such crimes have a severe psychological effect on victims - I can understand her hiding away from society if that was how society treated her.

What country did this happen in?

It does stand up to cross examination. NASA is not the only space agency in the world.
The only reason Flerther gurus hate NASA is because they can't refute the evidence NASA has compiled.
For example, NASA lied about these being photographs of the Earth. If they lied once, they can't reasonably be trusted again. We're not going to always be able to identify every time they lie - in this case, obvious proof that anyone can see took 34 years.

How far away do you believe the Sun is? Perhaps we could use that to determine the max range of sunshine?
About 3000km, but I'm not dogmatic. The sun is relatively close, but I'm uncertain how close. I know the motion of the heavenly bodies is not fully understood, so while I'm happy to discuss sunshine or similar, I won't be convinced of the shape of the Earth on this basis. There are some things that we just don't know yet.

The best and most direct proof of Flat Earth for me is here on Earth, without invoking the as-yet-not-understood behaviour of the Heavens and Heavenly bodies.

How do have a debate with an FE proponent? Every argument they present has been debunked many times over. I can't respect someone who has to resort to insult in order to argue with those who reject his point of view. For example, one FE character says that pressure, not gravity, brings objects to earth. I can debunk that argument in my kitchen. I get a one litre milk container, preferably round in cross section. It's empty, of course. I pour in boiling water and shake it with the lid on. The bottle gets very hot. Being plastic, it gets very soft. I take the cap off, allow it vent and then replace the cap. After a few minutes, the bottle collapses. Air pressure outside is higher than the vacuum inside. The bottle collapses into a triangular shape. That's because the pressure is equal all around. Pressure does not force an object in any particular direction. Newton's apple could have just as easily fallen up as down, if there was no gravity.

Go ahead, call these people liars. You will give an account to God for every word that you utter.

It just maybe possible, that you misunderstanding the idea completely. Your milk container experiment is very impressive, but this quote from Tesla might be even more spectacular. :)

I have been reading this quote for a few years now, and I think I finally understand it. You may say, this is science fiction, but Einstein said, Nikola Tesla is the smartest person alive, when he was alive.

You seem pretty confident in your airplane aerodynamics, so I'm quite scared on how you will handle any criticism against your milk bottle proof, that shows evidence without a shadow of doubt, that Universal Compression has been proven false. lol

The conspiracy theorist asks, Buzz to put his hand on the Bible, and swear he landed on the moon. What did Buzz do? Punched the conspiracy theorist in the face.

You can find the video pretty easily I believe, but it's harder to find, because it highlights some inconsistencies. There are other stories like not seeing stars on the moon and etc/etc.
