My last thread this year....lol Wanting to wish you all a safe and festive season celebrating our Lord Jesus Christ as we spare a thought for those less fortunate than us. And if you dont believe in Christmas happy holidays to you. Feel free to write a message here for others to give them hope or faith. God bless.

Of course we believe in Christmas and Boxing Day (Feast of Stephen) where we give gifts to each other.

Well some of us do, I was really surprised at the people Ive met who arent Christian here, and then there are those who arent feeling it atm :(

In ancient times they celebrated various saint's lives with a church mass and feast afterwards. Stephen, the first martyr in the book of Acts, had a mass and feast on December 26th each year. It's known and celebrated by Boxing Day today.

There's a famous Christmas Carol "Good King Wenceslas"

How do you say Merry Christmas in your native language?
In Te Reo Maori (New Zealand indigenous) it is Meri Kirihimete!
Samoan = Manuia le Kerisimasi
Tongan = Kilisimasi Fiefia!
Cook Island = Nga Kirihimete!
