There’s a difference between the “elect lady” and “believers.” ALL are believers and SAVED. Yet, not all are the “elect.”

There’s the bride and the virgins, the guests, the servants…not all are His Bride.

Search the scriptures.., “elect” and “bride” and “guests” and “servants” and “virgins” and “friends of the Bridegroom”..,,

Like United States Navy Seals are part of the Navy but not all Navy are Navy Seals.

Navy Seals have to overcome MUCH MORE…. Much More is required of them… if they want to be Navy Seals.

Those 7 Letters to the 7 Churches is Jesus Christ calling for His Bride…
Thank you I'll look into it

I mean really! Most of these are Christian preachers that have been baptized that have spoken about God all their life and yet Jesus did not know them
why?
These many people in Matthew 7:22 had the wrong foundation. They were trusting in their works to save them and not in Christ alone. (Lord, Lord, didn't 'WE' is the wrong answer. The correct answer would have been, Lord, Lord didn't 'YOU'). Their hearts were not right with God and seeking salvation by works is not the will of the Father. In context, Jesus mentions false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. (Matthew 7:15-23)

Can a Christian lose salvation?
Whether you can lose it or not, I don't know.

I haven't seen many references from the scriptures on anyone losing their salvation, but here are some I have seen scriptures that allude to the urgency to hold on to your faith.
Hebrews 2:3 How shall we escape, if neglect so great a salvation.... and Philippians 2:12 wherefore my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling.

I never knew you
If Jesus never knew them, then it would seem to me, they weren't saved in the first place. A lot of people profess and do good deeds in His name.
If we've obeyed the Gospel, then we're saved and if we continue in sin, we've never seen Him or known Him. 1 John 3;6. and by the way, if you think you lost your salvation, then you should seek to find it in the mercy of God through Jesus our high priest who is continuing to make intercession for the saints.

The simple fact that we die is proof we haven't been granted eternal life yet. We've been given the Holy Spirit as a guarantee (2 Corinthians 1:22), but it's only a guarantee on God's end. He has guaranteed to grant us redemption if we remain faithful to the end. But we struggle with sin and the flesh and if we give up and reject our Savior it's like taking God's guarantee and ripping it up. We're telling God we no longer want His guarantee.

So as long as we're in the body there will always be the possibility for sin to overcome us. That's why we have to have humility and be ever vigilant.

Jesus, Paul, and Peter all at one time or another said eternal life is a future thing. Yet there are some verses that look like eternal life is possibly obtained now, but like you said we still die. How is that reconcilable?
when this body dies it will rot and die forever and good riddance to it ... we will have new resurrection bodies fitted for eternal life.

Jesus chose Judas.

Mark 3
13Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to him those he wanted, and they came to him. 14He appointed twelve that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach 15and to have authority to drive out demons.
16These are the twelve he appointed…
19and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.

No one can come to Jesus unless the Father draws them. Looks like Judas still probably lost his salvation.

John 6
44No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day.
Judas was never saved, Jesus chose him knowing he was a devil and would betray Him. Judas ticks all the boxed in the letter to the Hebrews.

John 13:10 - Jesus said to him, “He who has bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you.” 11 For He knew the one who was betraying Him; for this reason He said, “Not all of you are clean.”

In regards to Judas being chosen, in John 13:18, we read - I do not speak concerning all of you. I know whom I have chosen; BUT that the scripture may be fulfilled, 'He who eats bread with Me has lifted up his heel against Me.' By Jesus choosing Judas, that does not mean that Judas was saved and Judas was not included in those "whom the Father gave to Jesus to be kept."

John 17:12 - While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the scripture might be fulfilled.

John 18:9 - that the saying might be fulfilled which He spoke, "Of those whom You gave Me I have lost none." Jesus did not lose Judas. Judas was already lost. Judas was an unbelieving, unclean devil who betrayed Jesus and Jesus knew it from the beginning. (John 6:64-71; 13:10-11)

Syllogism

1. All given by the Father to Jesus are kept.
2. Judas was not kept.
3. Judas was not given to Jesus by the Father

Or this way.

1. None of those given to Jesus by the Father will be lost by Jesus.
2. Judas is lost.
3. Judas was not given to Jesus by the Father.

Yes, and verse 11-13 continue...

"And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."

I already have been given eternal life.
Why this life is not based upon any analogies or behavior or emotions works of self righteousness. That's true of you and anyone else too, IF the Object of their faith is the Lord. It's based upon the Son. Therefore it's recorded here that I may know, that goes for all of us who trusted Jesus 100% . When someone says they can lose it, it shows that they have partly trusted self rather than the Lord. That's why the can never be sure. They already violated the Scriptures, their consciences, the laws of God. I thank God that it's a matter of record and we don't have to doubt and wonder if we were faithful until death. Those are great promises He's given believers in His Son, isn't it?
they say oh but we must keep faith, we must keep faith

.... but their doctrine is set to cause doubt

Judas was never saved
Not according to an honest look at scripture. Judas ticked at least two of these boxes that are for those who believe.

Mark 16
17And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

Mark 6:7,12
7Calling the Twelve to him, he began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over impure spirits.
12They went out and preached that people should repent. 13They drove out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them.

I don't know where you coming from, you must be a different Runningman to the one I used to know on TOL.
Sorry I don't know what TOL is. I am probably not the same person.

Are you waiting for the mercy of Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life according to Jude?

Jude 1
20But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, 21keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.

I'm curious what scriptures say that not all the saved are the bride?
I'm not sure what they are saying either. All those that are currently saved are the Church Bride. Those that are not ready (not saved) at the time of the Rapture will not be the in the Church Bride, but they will still have another chance to come to Jesus if they do not take the Mark of the Beast during the 7-year Tribulation. Many of these will be Jews. That is why the 7-year Tribulation is sometimes called "The Time of Jacob's Trouble."
