I walked on in and shut the door
I have been here times before

If I was sober not a peep
Intoxicated is what I'd eat

I was there for a cause
Standing firm for your laws

With people screaming shots a shout
Pour me soda from a spout

All one question for temptation
They can hear my aggravation

You kept me calm and gave me peace
All the noise began to cease

The evil looked the evil stared
I sipped my soda I did not care

The judges judged
My shoulders shrugged

I showed your light
I showed your love

I wish they'd see I wish they'd listen
And understand what their soul is missin

They say I'm different they say I'm changed
Since I bowed my head and cried your name

I feel as though I'm in Satan's pit
With just one reason that I sit

I have her a hug and a birthday wish
With sin in their glass I stuck to my dish

Lord open their hearts and open their eyes
Lock out Satan for he is despised

-my sister had her 30th birthday at a bar. I was not going to go but my family had really wanted me to. Out of love for my sister I went. I was somewhere I should not have been. I did not drink or knowingly go against the lord. I stood for the lord...always. people stared and made comments, they kept tempting me I said no. It broke my heart to be there more than anything. I felt so sad by the time I left. I pray the lord will forgive them, open their hearts, open their eyes, and help them.
