The Bible is clearly resolute in that homosexuality and same-sex relations are condemned as an abomination. Not only is homosexuality described as unnatural behavior but furthermore an indication of severe wickedness and abandonment of God.

Despite the clear Biblical teachings on the immorality of same sex unions, the Church of England has decided to move away from Scripural/Biblical teachings. Today, the Church of England, while not condoning same sex marriages, will 'BLESS SAME SEX CIVIL MARRIAGES'. But this is clearly not what Jesus taught, "A marriage is between one man and one woman'.

The Church of England has taken this stance in order to assure same sex couples that they are welcome in their churches. But, while doing so, it has abandoned God's teachings.

Satanic churches are manifesting more and more.

I remember when one of their then archbishop made a public statement about Islam, saying Sharia law was inevitable in Great Britain.
Later he retracted his remarks.

I'm no longer shocked by news of denominations and churches turning apostate. It's sad yet not surprising.

False teachers.

It would be great if a follow-up story reported the church stood empty for lack of a single parishioner showing up this coming Sunday out of protest.

I believe that Charles will drag the church even further than his mum even dreamed once he is crowned king.

The Church of England went into apostasy quite some time back (and it began in the 19th century). But it is not the only mainline denomination pandering to sexual perverts. Then we have Amy Grant (the Christian "icon") coming along and putting her stamp of approval on same-sex marriages. Do you see how much damage that is going to do? There is a picture of her wearing a rainbow necklace, which also shows how the significance of the rainbow has been perverted.

NONE OF THESE DEVELOPMENTS SHOULD SURPRISE CHRISTIANS. We have a "more sure word of prophesy" in the Bible which has already foretold that "evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse". This is all leading to the New World Order, and the Satanic reign of the Antichrist for 3 1/2 years (with God's permission). But that is not the end of the story either.

I truly believe that's why gays gave their flag rainbow colors. To flaunt their sins . Knowing God's rainbow appeared as a promise he'd never again punish the world's sins with a deluge.
Next time it will be fire. By then if they die unredeemed flame will be their new flag motif.

I see people wearing rainbow buttons, flying the flag in front of their home, even businesses and a church.
A girl I work with wears a heart shaped rainbow pin. We talked and I asked her about that thinking she was a lesbian.
No, she's not gay. She hates men. Except for her boyfriend. She wears the pin because her appearance leads some straights to think she's a bull dyke, her words. So she wears the pin so those types leave her alone. (@_@) Um, yeah. Makes perfect sense.

The people of England have abandoned the church of England. Now the church of England resorts to kowtowing to the world instead of submitting to God. This will hasten its welcome demise. It died a very long time ago. Like a dead tree loses its branches over time, so the church loses members. Some Anglican clergy are alive in Christ and do what they can to minister truth and life. Their hierarchy betray them.

About 10 or 15 years ago the Episcopal Church, led by gay Bishop Gene Robinson, adopted the LGBT agenda and tossed out God's agenda. Many Episcopalians fled to the more conservative Anglican Church, the Church of England. Now they will have to find somewhere else to go.

And, make no mistake, part of the LGBT agenda is to fracture and destroy Christian churches and they have succeeded in taking another one down. The teachings of Christianity are incompatible with the LGBT agenda.

But there is some good news, both of these apostate churches are dying out.. Both the Episcopalian and Anglican churches are losing parishioners/adherants very rapidly. Estimates are that the Episcopal church will disappear from the face of the earth in another 10 years. And Anglican church attendance is dropping like a rock, even prior to their adoption of the LGBT agenda.

As the old song goes, another one bites the dust. The Anglican church jettisons the teachings of the Bible and Jesus in order to make itself more acceptable to society. And, as the old song goes, Satan is laughing with delight.

well King Charles probably wont say anything as he cant talk seeing as he admitted to commiting adultery and now married to the lady.

And hes supposed to be the nominal 'head' of the Anglican church.

Royalty have always had gay servants anyway.

So its not surprising, just as all that paeodphilia and stuff that went down in the catholic churches. That they covered up.

I didnt know that episcopalian churches were differrent from anglican i thought they were the same branch, just episocopalian was the american term in the US.

They have been having gay bishops for quite some time and covering it up. And its all through the Quakers as well. They let go of the Word a long time ago.

But then you get the other extreme like the IFB crowd who spread a lot of hate which does nothing but fuel the flames.

Yeah, this was the church started because a man wanted to divorce his wife so he could legitimize his mistress. There were red flags. Just sayin’.

Good points.

I would add to this: “And, make no mistake, part of the LGBT agenda is to fracture and destroy Christian churches and they have succeeded in taking another one down. The teachings of Christianity are incompatible with the LGBT agenda.”

”Take down 501c3 churches”. Frankly, it’s just a matter of time. I give it a couple years. Incorporating under section 501 makes one ultimately beholden to the government of the US.

The church is the the body of believers who meet together, not a man made organization requiring commitment to it.

Creation of "religions" in the model of the Roman form of government and often requiring allegiance to it and not relationship with the indwelling Christ by the Holy Spirit thwarted the faith the early church practiced. Hence Jesus said of this time many would hold to an outward form of godliness and deny the power. He desires we each of us to walk as did He, He modeled how to live a life pleasing to the Father to the point at the baptism by John He boomed out "This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased", just from the way He lived His life.

I am not surprised or worried by the news. Denominations are man made and divisive. Some are closer to the Bible in doctrine and some do live the gospel. I get a better reception from the local Anglican pastor (he does not use the word priest or vicar) than I do from the Baptists or Pentecostals. On the other side of the coin, my enforced attendance at an Anglican church when I was young turned me off for years.

Some years ago, I complained to the Lord that so few were willing to go His way. He told me, "I have 7,000 who have not bowed the knee to Baal." You are right, Lord Jesus is building His church (and it's not the Southern Baptists) and the gates of hell cannot stand before her.

The church of England should be disestablished. Sell the properties to local congregations as long as they can support them. Turn a few of the Cathedrals into Museums. Maybe they will be used again as churches in the years to come. No use in having a church building with no church in it. Turn out these apostate bishops and "priests" out on their apostate ears. In my experience, most Anglican bishops are just as petty and vicious and apostate here in the US as they are in England. The liberal ones call themselves Episcopalians. The so called conservative ones call themselves Anglican.

That was 20 years ago this year. I remember it well. I fought in the Anglican wars that followed. The Episcopal church went apostate years before Vicky Gene Robinson was elected bishop. Just look up Bishop Pike or Bishop Spong. And neither was removed or censored by the church for teaching their heresy.

Wattie, you say, ",,,,,,,,but I haven't seen that hate you are mentioning in ifb churches." The fact is that the LGBT movement labels any group that doesn't accept their moral values as a homophobic hate group. They use this accusation as a weapon against those who won't join them.
