They mentioned it was a special squad, wondering what that was all about. Going to take some time, but it will all come out. But the fact that the cops are all black has made a difference, which is hypocritical. Don't know the answer, but they have got to get a hold of this. I'd say, pay cops more, train better. Would be a good start.
This issue is not a spiritual problem but a civil matter.
The officers who beat the man were hired to their positions as part of EO program to begin with. Basically just giving them their jobs because of no other qualifications than the color of their skin.
And statistically where Blacks make up 15% of the population they are committing about 40% of the crimes in America. That is most definitely a reasonable reason for "profiling". If in the UK and a fight breaks out in a bar...that Irish guy is likely the culprit in how it got started.
Couple that with the fact that culturally a class system has developed across the USA. If you are in a lower economic class your "rights" as a citizen are too expensive for you to exercise anymore. Only the wealthiest citizens have full access to their rights as the State is a giant that is in control. The blindfold has come off of lady Justice. Where the police are getting blamed...it really is the Prosecutor's Office that is the real culprit in abusing the citizens who do not have the financial resources to stand up to the Government.
Police, like county and State Prosecutors are all worried about having "good numbers " when demonstrating that they are good at their jobs. That requires arrests and convictions and revenue from fines. And in their zeal to have proof of their doing a "good job" the rights of the average citizen are getting abused.
So when this obvious disparity was brought to light...the gubbermint began reducing fines and penalties based solely on the color of skin. But did nothing to solve the problems of their own malfeasance.
There has been an investigation into Massachusetts' drug laboratories where the two labs for the state had gross violations of protocols....one was addicted to drugs and high at work regularly and the other wasn't bothering to test anything. The prosecutors gave each culprit light sentences and committed fraud in the courtrooms before the judges. (They lied)
But these drug labs had sent people to jail for decades....based on their tests. A $20 bag of heroine gets a man 7 years...but these drug lab techs got around a combined total of three years (18 mo ea)
And the riots continue.

The individual in question, I've never seen him respond to any of my comments or questions with a reply that's relevant to the topic.
