The Beauty of My Father
Forever at peace, Father, Son and Fiery Spirit as One
Even so in contentedness still ever reaches out;
Your love breaks out to create
I say in awe and Job said
I am unworthy ( and I am overwhelmed)—how can I reply (or even take in who you are) to you?
I put my hand over my mouth. I spoke once, but I have no answer—
twice, but I will say no more.”
If I look at your creation, I am speechless
How beautiful You are I know only in part
and how beautifully You create
The vastness of space and its worlds
The burning orbs lights our day
The verdant mountains with stately beauty
The azure ocean with its creatures
The variegated birds that gracefully fly
The earth with its hordes of little insect creatures
The larger primates with such strength
The fresh water creatures that swim and slither
Lord you are so beautiful and so great
How can I take it in, how can I adore you enough?
