I love Jesus. I love him more than anyone else I know on earth. I’m in love with him, the same way you love your partner, and I’m jealous because I have to share him with others. I would love to have him all to myself. I wish I could, However, I am aware that I cannot do so, do you feel like me?

King James Version Matthew 9:14-15 14 Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not? 15 And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast

So, how do you show your love for Jesus in your daily living, love of God and neighbor?

Praise the Lord! You are fulfilling the first commandment . . .

Mark 12:30
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings:

and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:21, 23-24‬ ‭

Ahhhh.. the love a believer has for Jesus shouldn't be romantic love. It is not the way you love a partner.

It is a relationship, but it's more of being a servant to a perfect, loving Father, rather than loving Jesus like you love your spouse.

Jesus is God. That's someone we can worship and revere in devoted love. But not like a man loves a woman.

Mark 12:30
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
That is the first command for sure-----My thoughts on this

But do we really----- Love ----(Agape )----God ------with all our heart --soul --mind and strength -------

Are we mature in your Faith enough to really trust -----and rely on God to do as he says in His word ----without any doubting --or fear that He won't do as He says ------

It is easy to say we Love God with all our heart --mind --soul and strength -----and that we have the first command as a victory -----but to live it ----it is really not that easy ----

Our Faith and Love has to be firmly grounded and rooted in God to truly--- Agape God -----in my view -------

Agape is total unconditional Love ----and I don't think any of us will accomplish victory in loving God totally and completely in an unconditional state in our life time -----

Most of us will die in our Carnal---fleshy --- State --------to reach the Mature Spiritual man state is a big Feat -----that is we totally and completely rely on only God to be involved in every area of our lives and trust only in Him -----

We live in this world and we will allow at times this world to influence our way of thinking -----and also Satan still roams this earth and can influence our thinking ------to doubt God and put fear in our midst --So you can't be in Doubt and fear and say you Love God ------

We will be in a war in our minds till we die ------- so to say we love God with all our heart --soul ---mind and strength is easy to Talk ---but to walk that Talk is very --very Difficult ---

Who will WIN OUR Daily Thoughts ------Faith or Fear -----

Hmm Well Karen you are the reason He came :) How He does this I don't know nor understand. We all will be in heaven and you look to your right and.. why is He looking just at you as if your the only one there. Tells you you are the most important one to Him. Knowing He does this for each. Like the sand on a beach He does not hold all and say LOVE YA! No picks up each one as if there is no other and holds it and never lets it go. Very personal God. I believe.

How inspirational and thought provoking this post is, thanks.

It reminds me to reflect my love for people always, any time I have contact with any other.

It reminds me to be sure that I wake in the morning with prayers to the one God---God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit to direction for the day to be used to show love for people. For 2 Timothy 5 tells us: For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,

All those who are weary and heavy laden...
Come to Me and I will give you rest. -said Jesus.

When we love him with all our heart, weary of its wickedness, all your mind, heavy with its shame of guilt, and all our strength laden with the weight of our sins. This is repentance bringing all that we are and giving ourselves to Him.

Having dealt with our dark hearts, wicked minds, and weak wills on the cross, He places His yoke around us and leaves us no burden but to love one another as He has loved us (sharing the love He has generously poured out to us).

I keep the 10 conmanments of God, I keep all the teaching of Jesus Christ and practice them daily's, I examined my own heart daily using the holy bible, I give money to the poor and food-banks, and I help the homeless. if anybody asks me for help I always helps them and I never turn a person away empty handed.

But didn't you say that you wanted to keep Him to yourself? Why? He wants you to share his love with others.
