One thing that we can know is a rock solid truth -- God wants everyone to be saved and He is exceedingly merciful. Even war, famine and plague is a mercy to bring us to our knees.

John Wimber, in the yt video The Kingdom of God mentions how He is pleased by our attempts to come into conformity with His will, but He is OUTRAGEOULY pleased to find a people who will walk WITH Him.

It's funny the technology used to shoot it down. That fabulous sidewinder missile used during the Vietnam conflict. It's still just as effective as it was the first time it was employed, and still a favorite of fighter pilots.

It seems pretty clear the purpose of it was for spying.

So this was a fairly slow moving intelligence gathering piece of equipment

If they sent over into mainland USA, unmanned planes, or drones, with that, or any other purpose, should we simply wait until they crossed the country before shooting them down?

And how do you think the Chinese would react if American spy balloons drifted across their country?

Perhaps it was a warning that they are about to attack, God is sovereign, He is merciful, His prophets have been sounding the warning, I see no reason He doesn't give us this as a warning as well.

I think it was a "Redacted" video that found some trade agreements for strategic minerals for them was made a couple years ago. Many of us saw this coming from the time Nixon opened the door, thanks a lot Dick!:)(y):coffee::unsure:

hmm,,,I think they'll end up noticing that cargo ships,fish factories,fishing vessels ect. might be the culprit,that is if they were so easy to keep track of we wouldn't even need EPIRB'S right?

My Chinese or Japanese? neighbors keep to themselves. I'm not even sure they speak English because I do the same. I only see them leaving to and returning from work. So, I hope they don't have plans change anything but the local work ethic.
