Pretty sure it wasn't the HS whispering in your ears
"Hey! Psssst!! If you screw up, or no longer believe in that Messiah fella, you will be kicked out of God's family and tossed into hell!"
You've got it all wrong. It didn't happen that way.

The Holy Spirit revealed to me OSAS is a lie. Guess you had it right to begin with then got pressured into changing your mind.
The holy spirit huh? Buddy you think the holy spirit cares about a theology of man? osas is a creation of man a deluded replacement of the truth the word of God is very clear on salvation you just make it complicated

And the fact you so passive agressively make your last remarks I could feel the bitterness in them your not going to hear the holy spirit in your state

Doesn't sound like the HS I know.
Brother Penn none of us that oppose OSAS believe or teach that. That is an unfair characterization. We are talking about a person willfully walking away and back into a sinful lifestyle. We are not talking about a sincere Christian who fails and repents. Not the same at all.

That's alright, I agree with post, I disagree with post, just like every brother and sister here. I have usually stayed away from since topic since I've been here. Light a match and away we go. It will be one of those topics until the Lord returns. I still choose to believe I am surrounded by brothers and sisters in the Lord and one day we will meet in heaven. May it be so.
This was amazing you have a very good heart I bet God is up there right now saying that is mine

So your belief is that you can leave Jesus after becoming born again?

Do you also believe Jesus will leave you?

I don’t know you and didn’t know of your affliction prior to your post. I pray God restores your site as only He can. I also pray God softens your heart because you’re not sharing love, you’re sharing anger, and I question the validity of its righteousness.

You come in here throwing judgmental daggers at people who sincerely love the Lord and have given their lives over to Him. It’s that kind of attitude that causes strife within the body, pushes people on the precipice of faith away from the Lord, and empowers nonbelievers to scorn the faith. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar. I suggest you heed that simple, yet very profound wisdom.

Well think about it we are told we were purchased by his blood if that is true then he hold the deed to our souls something we made a contract to hand over that deed and the power of his blood is soaked in it

this is the blood of Christ not your average blood this is the blood of God himself this seals that contract like no other seal your his that's it game over.

Many stumble and fall and lose their way sometimes for a long time I actually know a man who was saved when he was 13 but he didnt have a church or anyone and in his early twenties fell into season of 40 years of just being lost making a mess of his life you wouldn't think he was saved but he always clung to God he just lost his way

I know him now as a very old man but he shines a brialliance of God I have rarely encountered. Until their final breath he wont let go of them he will let them learn through the mess of their actions but he is always with them he never leaves them and just like this old man he became a brilliant light

And what if he is? would it be so bad to be called out in area we need work on?
But no he was talking about the church in general we are dead as the body of Christ that is just fact and to think otherwise is just stupid.
I think we cleared the air on that one and we can let go, as the song says. lol

Now your take on words just bafffffffffffffffffff me you dopn't seem to understand at all so let me tell you about works. Faith produces works and faith isn't a thing that you have some here and now it is a state of being it is a frequency with him that we should always be in tune with that is what walking in faith is and look at Jesus he walked constantly in this frequency and he did many works not just in miracles but in everything he did and said he wasn't lazy once he had the annointing of the holy spirit he went right to work.
So yeah any works you do will always lead you to where you are now because your not living in faith the kingdom of God wont be in your life until you get into that frequency with him but don't try to make exuses with your issue on works this isnt about works it's about the works of God it is about be a good worker planting the seed of his kingdom in everything we do dont expect a garden if you just going to sit there and hope for seeds to be planted
Yes my friend, but once saved always saved doesn't = once saved always following. There are those that fall away from the faith. The Word says so. I'm sorry, I see no way around those verses. But I will continue discussing, listening and asking. Blessings.

That was not the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit would never mock the promise of his father given to all who truly repent and believe. Salvation is on God based on his work and his promise. Not on us..

The anger was not one of hate it was one of frustration because he is frustrated I wasn't angry or frustarted until I obeyed him in making that thread I didnt even know what the thread was going to be about I just obeyed and was consumed by this fiery spirit

The words poured out and I was barely able to type them fast enough. He sent me with a message and he is speaking to his church I have no ill will towards anyone here but he didn't send me here to speak meekly he changed me

The only way that person would lose salvation is if they were under the law.

Either way. John said a person who is born of God can not fall into a sinful lifestyle.

that is basically saying Gad has failed in his work to change a person.. WHen God said he will complete the work he started.

Matthew 10:32-33 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Peter denied christ three times

Will Jesus deny him in heaven?

Yes it talks about falling from faith but I know this Jesus said he would never leave or foresake us

Now we can argue the definitation of the phrase falling from faith and we can say the word says this and that but Jesus is the truth the way and the life I go to him and and if he says something im not going to call him a liar so it doesn't matter what I think about the issue I just go by what he says and he hasn't let me down yet

Matthew 18:32-35 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:
Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?
And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

Does it really matter? I don't mean does the issue matter. I mean does it matter what I say or believe?

But if someone is born again they HAVEN’T denied Him. By definition.
Otherwise they’d be 1:John 2:19 peeps.
