Sharia Law indoctrination can be argued for when public school kids are told to take a Muslim name, and basically practice to be a Muslim. Imagine the stroke the ACLU would have if a public school authorized their students to practice what it means to be a Christian.

I know this is off-topic, but it just came to me when reading this post.

There is an historical fact many believers are not aware of: The founders wanted the Bible taught in public schools. Thomas Jefferson got Bibles to the Indian tribes. When they had public prayers, it was to the God of the Bible, not a generic blend of the world's religions, and it certainly was not a Wiccan prayer. They wanted the US founded on Christian principles and a generally Biblical world view.

Why?

Because they saw this as the best generator -- and preserver -- of liberty. People fearing hell-fire judgment are more likely to police themselves, negating the need for a police state.

They didn't like what they saw in other religions around the world. They believed Christianity was a vital foundation for the country. Sorry atheists out there, that is an historical fact, and if you need it, I can prove it -- with their own words.

Now, does this mean that someone who decided to practice Judaism or Islam or Daoism would not be permitted to do so? No it does not. The founders believed in freedom. But, they did want the majority of the country Christian-influenced. That, though, only comes through teaching and convincing the public of the soundness of that, since we are about free will here. And, that is obviously where we have failed.
What is very interesting is that three of our founders were very focused on education, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, John Witherspoon, Benjamin Rush and Abraham Baldwin were all keenly concerned with education. So you should understand that when the constitution says whatever is not covered by the constitution is not part of the Federal governments authority and is left up to the states, they are definitely referring to education. The reason is that Jefferson, Franklin and Rush had three distinctly different views on education policy so they wanted to each pursue their own strategy and let the best approach win.

When George Bush pushed "No Child Left Behind" it was a power grab to take control of education in this country. I was shocked that no one called him on it, pointing out that as President he has no authority to be "the education president".

No child left behind sounds good but as usual they give a terrible thing a great name. What it really should be called is "No Child gets ahead". They required schools to follow their rules or else they don't get any government funds. Then they put really great rules out but didn't provide any money to pay for it. As a result we had a whole bunch of kids incapable of being in a general ed class dumped into general ed without the extra support they needed. In the suburbs they had much bigger budgets so they could handle these rules. As a result the inner city was like making you run a three legged race while the kids in the suburbs don't have that restriction.

We have too much federal meddling in too many different areas where it was never intended to be. The administrative state must be dismantled.

Unfortunately, nationalist leaders tend to be false prophets. They tell of coming great end-time harvest of souls (the third great awakening); a great transference of wealth from sinners into the hands of God's people; and the setting up of God's kingdom on earth before the Lord can return. These are all lies pure and simple.

I'm telling you what they look like so you'll know them when you see them. If I spoon feed you where's the satisfaction in that? Besides, if you've been following along I've posted clues; if you're really interested you would've caught them. Or there's a great new invention called "Google."

Most people at least try and back of their claims.

Christian nationalism is big and is on the rise. /
Hello! I hope you're having a good day. Perhaps there is a balance to be struck. The bible says that Jesus Kingdom is not of this world (John 18:36) and that our citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20). Christians who get too deep into politics or mistake a country or party for God's Kingdom are making a big mistake. Sectarianism is toxic and cannot co-exist with the gospel. On the other hand we have to be salt and light in the world, including the political realm. If believers completely withdraw from any sphere then we're leaving it to darkness. But perhaps the most important thing to remember is that wherever we are the Kingdom of God is the priority, a political party can offer little in comparison, the temporal vs the eternal is not a contest. God Bless All :)

I never made a claim about any specific Christian nationalists; I've posted what they teach and how they can be spotted.

What exactly is your opinion of Christian nationalism? I'm beginning to suspect you fit the description and simply want to discredit me.

You did say "Unfortunately, nationalist leaders tend to be false prophets. " So either you can name some or you're just making an unfounded blanket statement.

I personally don't believe Christians that love this country and believe in what it once stood for (and still should stand for) don't need some human to convince them to be nationalist. Christians are nationalist because that's what God puts in their heart. Christians in the US have had a lot to be thankful for because God raised this country up to do great work and it has done that in spades and Christians among many others have benefited greatly from it.

Washington State Teacher ‘Says the Quiet Part Out Loud’ on Parental Rights in Education

https://www.dailysignal.com/2023/02...eed-protect-students-christo-fascist-parents/

A high school teacher in Washington state suggested that schools should hide information about children from their parents, because kids “are not safe in this nation from their Christo-fascist parents.”

Kelly Love, who appears in Auburn School District’s directory as “Karen Love,” a teacher at Auburn High School, made the claim Thursday on Twitter.

Yet the majority don't. It is only the people at the very top who are instituting these changes.

Because no authoritarian State EVER separated kids from their parents. Noooooooo. Of course the Leftists here will overlook that or excuse that or reluctantly condemn it at best. Yet, that is true fascism and it is coming from their side.

The things they are guilty of they accuse others of doing, once you realize this you can be tipped off to what they are doing based on what they accuse others of doing.

Tucker Carlson Calls Out ‘Professional Christians’ Who Don’t Speak Up For Religious Freedom

“Where all the professional Christians? You have to wonder that again,” Carlson said. “Where’s David French and Beth Moore and Tim Keller and all these people who were defending Christianity when actual Christians are being arrested for being Christians? Not a word.”

Untrue.

How does it feel to be on Christian Chat branding Christians as dangerous.

Do you feel empowered? Does it make you feel powerful deriding Christians.

Liberalism always looks for enemies and works on silencing them. Study history, learn something accurate.

You Mr. Dude are in league with a group of people hell bent on the destruction of society and they are using Christians as the scapegoat.

I hope you feel really good about it.
I'm not saying all Christians are like this but Christian nationalism is this idea that only Christianity is supposed to be relevant in America and if you're not christian, your rights don't matter

I really think you have it backwards, it is the rights of Christians that are undermined.

Like their speech being censored.

Would you like examples or do you follow the unbiased news?
