The wrath of God? That which we allegedly need protected from.
My time-line
The Great tribulation ... the Rapture ... God's wrath ... the 1, 000 year reign of peace and prosperity.
The church reigning with Christ from heaven, the Jews reigning with Christ from Jerusalem on earth.

Tribulation is not God's wrath. Tribulation is persecution from the world. "in the world you will have tribulation"
THE tribulation THE great....

https://biblehub.com/text/revelation/7-14.htm

The one and only. The only one definitively linked to the AofD.

Amils historicists preterists always strike out in matters of eschatology. They have an amazing appetite for losing.

Correctly stated as: the 7 years of the wrath of God unleashed upon the earth dwellers. Which shall never affect the Church who has already been raptured beforehand, seen in Rev 4 & 5 singing in joyous chouruses of praise IN HEAVEN before the THRONE along with cherubim and angels.

Not so. Jesus said they will beat YOU and kill YOU.

I believe all Christians will be raptured but I don't believe it's how many say it will be. From interpretation, the only way Christians will be raptured is unto death because of the persecution of the faithless. That will leave Israel as the only Children of Heaven roaming the earth til Christ returns.

I don't know how many believe the way I do tho.
Christians will be raptured exactly how God says so. Read 1st Thessolonians 4:13-18. Along with that, there is 1st Thessalonians 5:9- "For god hath NOT appointed man to wrath but to OBTAIN salvation by our Lord & savior Jesus Christ" & Romans 5:8,9- "But God commended His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. Much more, being now justified by His blood we shall BE SAVED FROM WRATH THRU HIM"!!!

we will endure hard times before the rapture as we are now but not the tribulation. what's the sense in being saved if Christians are going to be here during the tribulation? what are you saved from?

@Evmur never fails to wrongly conflate our LIGHT affliction (which is for our good) with God's wrath upon the earth dwellers, which is PUNISHMENT.

KJV Search Results for "wrath" (blueletterbible.org)

Isa 24:21
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.

Isa 26:21
For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

I agree with you up until your last line.

Can you explain to me how you came to the conclusion that gentiles will be reigning with Christ in heaven, and that Jews will be reigning with Christ in Jerusalem?

You can't Rapture when you still in the flesh, but we all die as Jesus and we all die with Jesus. If you want to rapture in your flesh life then you are madness

This would be the correct way to view it if the left "behind" left alive. But, in my view, someone inserted their 'behind' into the view somewhere along the way so that it would appear that being left were the undesirable outcome rather than those being taken. However, both Luke 17 and Matthew 24 speaking of Readiness at Any Hour, the taken are not "harpazo'ed" as Phillip was but these are "paralambano'ed." Where are they 'taken'? Where the eagles gather... is the answer when the disciples asked Jesus, "where?"

This is the only way the 'left behind' theory fits. Personally, I don't see why we wouldn't reign, together, with Christ as He said, "Wherever I am, there you may be also."

What kind of a BIZARRE statement is this? It seems that you have no clue about the Rapture.

It is simply astounding to read some of these comments in this thread from those who have not even taken the time to understand what the Rapture is. So I am going to challenge all these people to get back to studying the Bible very carefully and then coming back and discussing the Rapture (which is actually the Resurrection/Rapture). There seems to be a lot of Gnostic influence floating around.

You speak of your interpretation of the rapture. Today, I came across my journal entry for Saturday 4th September 2021. As new members, I thought I would share it with you.

Matthew 24:36-44 (The Necessity for Watchfulness) NRSV-CI

Here is the understanding of this passage of scripture given to me by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in His infinite wisdom.

Verse 36 informs us that only the Father knows the day and the hour. Here even the holy being of the Trinity does not know the when. The humility of the Son shown to us again as he shares in our humanity and same existence.

That the Trinity in its entirety does not have a complete awareness, shows that a final flourishing is to come. A fulfilment of God’s purpose for us His chosen in Jesus Christ, in the same instant as Christ Himself.

Verses 37-39 reveal the immediacy of the rapture as it is compared to the days and time of Noah. It provokes us to believe that In our time people will be going about their business as normal as the Rapture unfolds before our own eyes. Destruction of the many, rescue of the few.

‘Most will be lost, many will be saved.’

Verses 40-44 detail the rapture, the final completion and glory of the most holy Trinity; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This scripture however, should not be taken in a literal sense to understand the outcome.

No one is taken or disappears beforehand. Physically as human beings we are unable to keep awake indefinitely and it is beyond imagination to imply the Son of Man is a thief.

Breaking down the attributes of this passage of scripture, Verse 40 details ‘two will be in the field, one will be taken and one will be left. Verse 41 states ‘Two women will be grinding meal together; one will be taken and one will be left.’ The people in these verses are at work. It is not the person who is taken but the person’s burden that disappears. Why should this be? One consciously glorifies God the Father with their work, the other does not.

Verse 42 states ‘Keep awake therefore, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.’ This verse asks us to be attentive to the Holy Spirit. We are not asked to stay awake physically but in spirit. Through our dreams unconsciously and in our waking consciousness through prayer, bible, fasting, mass and confession. Making ourselves a sinless vessel for the Holy Spirit to dwell.

Verse 43 the house is our soul, sin the thief. If we had been constantly attentive to the Holy Spirit, listening and acting upon what we hear, sin would not have broken in stealing most away before the unexpected hour arrived. Their inheritance gone, God’s promise to them, forever lost.

My fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, ready yourselves.

The Rapture - the reuniting of Christ’s chosen with our Lord in His kingdom.

All, for the glory of God. Amen.

Yes
we are not promised to reign on earth but in heaven, we are the church and even now are seated with Christ in heavenly places [positionally]The church includes the ot saints and all saved Jews

The earth is promised to Abraham's seed ... the meek shall inherit the earth.

But the Kingdom of Heaven will be on earth in that dispensation. As it is written "Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven"

Who? The other saints who are with me in heaven? I think not......:sneaky:
So Jesus did not warn us that children will deliver their parents up to death and parents will deliver their children ....

.... how awful IS this persecution [tribulation]?

Folks try to say that this is the Jews but that doesn't make sense, if a Jewish child delivers up her Parents for being Jewish she is declaring that she also is Jewish and the same with parents. No this persecution Jesus warned about is against the church who will refuse the mark of the beast.

The end-times will be perilous.
