Is this possible

My friend believes his mind is being taking somewhere by a spirit. But when it happens it feals real and it's actually happening to him.

I have a friend who is becoming increasingly vacant. I'm so worried.

He tells my best mate he keeps being taking out of his body, and it's been happening his whole life, he just hasn't worked it all out until now he says.

He says, he beliefs he is being afflicted by a spirit, the strange thing is when he goes vacant it can last many minutes, and when he Comes to, we say you've been vacant again, he always says I've just been somewhere.

Its real to him and what happens whilst he's away seems real, all of sudden he goes vacant, he comes to and says he's been somewhere, and never believes us when we tell hims you've been there the whole time,

Where so worried. We put it down to day dreaming, but now where unsure, he just will not have it.

Once he was missing for 4 hours last year,
I found him in the laundry room curled up in ball, I thought he had fallen asleep so I walked out to tell his sister, my best mate where he was, but just as I was about to tell her he came in, my best mate asked him where he had been, he said he had been on a journey, the place he said he went to was a farm, some 50 miles away. We know that now because we where driving one day last week, and he said wait this was this farm I went to last year when you guys wouldn't believe me, he described every thing about the building the gate the horse arena, we drove in and every thing was as he explained, the rooster on the roof, the sign on the gate which said the only way is up,

Some of the other things that's been happening is he's accusing people of things that have not happend, he will not have it,

He now believes that he is having his mind taking out of his body by a bad spirit that is stealing his mind and also appearing as people he loves, and doing bad things to him, each time this has happend he has 100 percent felt it was true and accuses us of all sorts. His name is Ben could you pray for him please.

May I ask, is your friend a Christian? If he is or isn't, has he had anything to do with the occult, ouija board, talking to spirits or "ghosts"? Has he any medical condition you know of?

Where scared if this is really happening the Doctors won't believe him, and it will mess his life up.

There is a condition called ... oh my goodness, I cannot remember what it is called, but it is a mental health issue where the person just checks out and becomes non-responsive even though there is nothing ostensibly wrong, like they have not had a stroke nor are they having a seizure, although in fact it may be called some kind of a seizure, but it is not like epilepsy. I tried looking it up when I first saw your post but didn't have the right words; however, I found this now: a condition called absence status epilepticus. In Acts 19:13-16, we're told of 7 non-Christian sons of Sceva who went to cast out a demon invoking both Paul's and Jesus' names. Then were overcome by the possessed man and fled wounded and naked.

In the gospels, we're told how the Lord's disciples were unable to cast out a demon and Jesus told them that that demon required prayer and fasting to cast it out.

In 1 Jn 4:1-3, we're told that not every spirit was from God and that those spirits were unable to say that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh when tested.

From this we can see that only the faithful are able to deal with evil spirits, even though some of them require prayer and fasting to affect. From 1 Jn 4, we see that evil spirits will reveal themselves to some people and if those people heed the evil spirit without trying it, they can thereby become a false prophet, sadly.

For the faithful, we are to resist the evil one and he will flee; draw nigh unto the Lord and he will draw nigh unto thee.

Your friends only hope is found in Jesus, who does not give us a spirit of fear, but rather of power, love, and a sound mind, 2 Tim 1:7.

I have to requote you on this, but is it even possible that a bad spirit has to be cast out befor Jesus can enter, does my friend need to fast to be on the safe side then ask again for Jesus. I have to sign out now, but I have some other concerns is it true that some people believe Job 1 should be the first book in the bible. ?

But anyhow did Satan give the power he was given back to God in Job 1 or as he stole it forever

I suspect that when someone hears the Lord's word and is called to God and convicted of their sins by the Holy Spirit and if they respond by believing that word with a godly sorrow and confess that Jesus is Lord sincerely, then they shall be save and delivered with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

To my understanding, the evil one was given license to attack only as a special allowance. He even went back to the Lord for permission to escalate his attack of Job.

yes, will pray. there is an easy solution to this: become a born again Christian. Read 1st John chapter 4. it teaches how to recognize false spirits. anything can seem real if you allow it. there's an old statement: "if you tell a lie long enough, you'll begin to believe it's true"! well, if you believe in evil sprits, they' will seem true. any Christian can cast out any demonic spirit in the name of Jesus Christ. help your friend by suggesting a Christian pastor to assist. AND JESUS IS FREE, HE DOESN'T CHARGE ANYTHING TO HEAL!!!!! YEAH!!!

I understand that in many practices of exorcism performed by priests, great lengths are gone to purify water and salt to make holy water for exorcism or baptising water, so much so the salt has to be pure, blessed an so does the water, blessed and pure and only someone who is saved can do this. But is water pure theses days with pollution or the blesser not following guide lines.

Also my friend is a heavy smoker is body is defiled quite possibly from smoking and possession is it possible he needs a longer fasting period.
