Jesus is the Word and the Word calls homosexuality and abomination. Double use of punctuation is also sloppy English . :)

What I don't get is why does anyone still respond to him? You cannot reason with someone who tries desperately to equate Jesus with Satan (Post #2502). No reasonable person would have made that conclusion.

Back to agreeing with you.. Arguing different views wiht fellow Christians can be good for research learning etc. OSAS, baptism, women pastors, tongues the gifts etc . As long as the basics of Christianity are present those can be good , although often heated conversations . Some folks label themselves Christian when they show zero fruit of the Lord. Butchered babies are not Christian fruit.

The word translated ignorant is only used here in this verse in the New Testament.

(this is not the word used when Paul said "I would not have you ignorant" in Romans 11, 1Corinthians 10, 1 Corinthians 12, 2Corinthians 1, or 1Thessalonians 4. It is also not the word that Peter uses in 2Peter 2.)

This word could be translated as stupid or rude.
