Ezekiel 13:8-16
Verse 8. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord GOD.
Make sure what you are teaching people lines up with Gods word or you will be in a heap of hurt.
Verse 9.And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
This is talking future into the millennial reign and beyond these preachers, teachers, etc. that do these thing will NOT make it to spend eternity with God. They will know in the end that God is in control and that you disobey Him and with out repentance you are in a world of hurt.
Verse 10 Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter:
You don't need to study the book of Revelation you are going to be gone; or Praise God brother we are no longer under the law but under grace we do not have to worry about the things in the old testament; This is new testament times.
One puts up a wall of protection and another covers it with whitewash thanking that it will keep the people safe. You (the prophets, pastors, teachers, etc,) have not gone up into the gaps and fixed them, you have not caught the little foxes NO you have brought them right on into the church.
Verse 11-16
11 Say unto them which daub it with untempered morter, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it. 12Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it? 13Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it. 14So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.15Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered morter, and will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it; 16To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord GOD.
Remember this is God speaking Ezekiel is just pass along The Word of God.
If (the biggest little word in the bible) you are following God and lessening to His word you have nothing to fear. Remember the book of Daniel the 3 in the fire heated 7 time hotter than normal and nothing happened to the 3 Hebrew children Jesus was their with them. Danial in the lions den God protected him. God will protect us also if we trust in Him and follow His word and doctrine; But if you choose to follow mans doctrine that protection is gone.
As we move on in this chapter we are going to see what it is that God is speaking against here.
Verse 17 Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them,
Yes woman can be and were prophets, teachers, and leaders of Israel. You can read of Deborah in Judges 4.
So just what were these false prophesies and teaching these woman were spreading.
Verse 18.And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?
God is giving us a visual picture here: Hold out your arms and visualize from your shoulder where shirtsleeve starts all the way down your arm to the wrist both arms covered with a big pillow, then take a handkerchief or scarf and wrap it around your hand and then in between your fingers and then tie it all up. Just how much work could you do like that. That is what God is saying these false prophets are doing to Him. Why are they covering Him up like this? So they can hunt the souls of His people. Then He asks a question: Will you hunt the souls of My people? Will you save the souls alive( just who has the power to save a soul? God alone) These are supposed to be prophets of God not against God. Will you save the souls alive that come to you? No they can not.
Verse 19. And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies?
Will you lie to my people and tell them everything is going to be OK and you are in good standing with God as long as you go along with every thing I say; even if it is a lie so long as you keep the money coming in. Your false teaching, your false church doctrine will kill the soul of those that want Gods word and have not been taught how to check out what you are saying is true or a lie. They do not know any better so they follow you all the way to hell. You “save” the souls that should not not live. In other words you tell the people that want to hear lies that they are ok because they are filling the offering plate for you, when they are no better off than any other unsaved person living in the world today.
Just what is the LIE I am going to fly you away.
Verse 20. Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.
No where in this prophecy does God say I am going to fly
Verse 21. Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
Just as I ripped off the pillow from my arms so I will do to your kerchiefs. I will rip them off and save My people just as I did with the pillows.
Verse 22.Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:
I know for myself and some others that do not agree with the rapture, it does make us sad to see good people being lied to being told that the rapture is as true as the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Your lies have done nothing but strengthen the words of false teachers, preachers, ect. around the world. All that you do by preaching sweet little sermons or a verse here and there and then blowing hot air for 30 minutes or so on how good ol uncle Joe did things.
The truth of the matter is Against those the would teach people that the rapture is real and that they do not have to worry because Jesus is going to carry them away. The only Christ that is going to say something like that is the Anti Christ when he comes at the 6th trump. Remember Jesus has told us all that Satan shows up at the 6th Trump and Jesus at the 7th trump.
