I am unable to produce any sympathy for this kid. While I am not advocating for violence against people who annoy you, maybe this kid learned a valuable lesson that the amount to which you find out is going to be directly proportionate to the amount you "expletive" around
Also after seeing some of this kids videos, I believe he himself should be prosecuted for publicly harassing people

If every business in town would put criminal trespass orders on them, they wouldn't have an audience for their pranks

The article you posted says:

The local county’s top prosecutor later told the Washington Post that Cook could be charged separately if evidence surfaces that he threatened or touched Colie.

I'm glad that the prosecutor wasn't blind to the prankster harassing other people.

But after listening to the prankster's father, now we know why the guy is such a jerk:

Cook’s father, Jeramy, said he and his family were confident he would recover fully. “We live on faith, not fear,” Jeramy Cook said to WUSA.

Jeramy Cook separately told the Post that he couldn’t believe a prosecutor would consider charging his son and argued that Tanner had the constitutional free expression right to make his prank videos.
