As a Dart so Shall my Soul Flee to Thee

What can I return to you for all you are?
By Your spirit, I worship, draw me when afar!

Speaking to me in Your sweetness
Loving me and calming me by Your meekness

Spare my soul when parched, my flower blighted
For my vine shrivels and dies, without my Savior sighted

Every numbered hair you count, every word I say
Ever foot I plant, in your presence I stay

Tho you see my iniquity, your patience to change is great
You don’t look away, by your power I in You, You will be sated

Bridegroom, ever more I shall be, loving You and You loving me
Hosanna in the highest, hallowed be thy name, Holy, Holy, Holy, for its you I see

As a dart so shall my soul flee to thee
Calling me to You by your mercy to always be free

Amen. Although I have sinned against him, it is him i cling to. I may have failed him but I wont stop loving and seeking him. My soul too flees to him ..... Like a dart.

Thank you for sharing

We will always cling to Him, we will always love Him, because He loves us so greatly. He clings to us and will never let us go.

Thanks for watering my garden!

Garden is in the same meaning of the poem. The Garden where He clings me and I cling to Him. What i am saying is that my brothers and sisters love of Him increases in me the love of Him. Similar idea of a camp fire, a single twig doest put out much fire but several twigs can start a large log fire ablaze. With our mutual shared love of Him we become that blazing fire!
