Sometimes I'm praying.
I'm down on my knees.
My heart filled with sorrow,
And comfort just flees.
Sometimes I'm bewildered,
Seeking the calm.
Then I remember His feet,
And I remember His palms.
I Remember the Lord,
Who's so good to me.
He holds me so tight,
And so tenderly.
He comforts my soul;
Takes my troubles away.
He lifts my burdens;
Turns my night into day.
Sometimes I'm distressful.
Sometimes I am sad.
Sometimes I get lonely.
Sometimes things are bad.
Sometimes I'm unsettled,
With my heart open wide.
Then I remember His back,
And I remember His side.
I Remember the Lord,
Who's so good to me.
He holds me so tight,
And so tenderly.
He comforts my soul;
Takes my troubles away.
He lifts my burdens;
Turns my night into day.
So if you find yourself praying,
And you're down on your knees,
And your heart's filled with sorrow,
And your mouth's filled with pleas;
When you're lost and bewildered,
And in need of a guide,
Remember Jesus...
That's why He died.
Remember the Lord,
Who's so good to me.
He'll hold you so tight,
And so tenderly.
He'll comfort your soul;
Take your troubles away.
He'll lift your burdens;
And turn your night into day.
I'm down on my knees.
My heart filled with sorrow,
And comfort just flees.
Sometimes I'm bewildered,
Seeking the calm.
Then I remember His feet,
And I remember His palms.
I Remember the Lord,
Who's so good to me.
He holds me so tight,

He lifts my burdens;

Sometimes I'm distressful.
Sometimes I am sad.
Sometimes I get lonely.
Sometimes things are bad.
Sometimes I'm unsettled,
With my heart open wide.
Then I remember His back,
And I remember His side.
I Remember the Lord,
Who's so good to me.
He holds me so tight,
