No. In contrast to that last video where he was freestying, my soundtracks are more structured and made for a purpose. Also I'm nowhere near good enough to play in realtime, so I cheat - I drop the playback speed to very low and play notes, I go back and edit them, I use automatic quantize to snap the notes to a measure.

I should have done that style first. It's the easiest one I ever made. Would have been a great boost for my self confidence.

It's something to do and it's doggone useful sometimes when a regularly scheduled singer is out sick or something.
I do NOT play on stage though. As neat as it is, and as good as my intentions may be, a hard rock guitar coming from my keyboard would draw more attention to the keyboard than to the message in the song.
But a soundtrack I already made and am singing with, that's different. That's just a soundtrack. People don't pay it any mind at all.

Gotta say your talented tho. Not everyone can do what you can. Some may have the desire but not everyone has the drive to learn and explore. Take me for an example, I wanna know how to play better but I aint doin anythin abt it and yet I get frustrated when I hear my cello screeching. 🤣 I wanna compose a song but I easily give up when I cant make a nice chord progression and my words get all tangled up. I just have the desire but no drive (and God's been dealing with it for quite some time now lol)

Our senior pastor used to be a musician so he handles everything technical. We got a yamaha mixer. I forgot the name but its digital.
Its my bow speed and vibrato that need to improve but dw thats y i got cello classes every Saturday haha. I know how to play the keyboard and guitar too.

Doesn't have to be electric. Just get a clip-on guitar pickup. It's a little microphone disk with a spring-loaded arm that holds onto the instrument frame. Usually put it either on the edge of one of the acoustic holes in the instrument or at the fret base.
But if you can play piano/keyboard you don't really need anything else. Just about everything is available for free in virtual instruments you can load and play through a laptop. Connect keyboard to laptop, load instruments in laptop and play.

Actually you can do just about anything with Synth1. Lead guitar, strings, percussion, or just science fiction bird calls (not even kidding.)
(Give it a few minutes. The first bit is more dance-trance, but after a while you get more variety in the sounds in this demo.)

There's also something in the keyboard world called "aftertouch." It's a way to emulate even the expressiveness of violins, by controlling the sound AFTER you strike the note. I don't have such a keyboard, but I want one.
Yeah, stick with the cello. A cello in the hand is worth two aftertouch-capable keyboards in the store.
