No one should be too surprised if there are massive long-term "electrical grid failures" about that time...

Most people do not realize how much "every day stuff" that happens is actually "planned and executed" - almost nothing "just happens" anymore.

Don't be too surprised if the 'official' report says that the "weather" has "fried" our computer control circuits and knocked out our power grid and it will take six weeks/months to get it back up again...

(Which would not be true - these things can be bypassed in a short period of time to get power back up again.)

Believe it or not - power is "kept down" mostly by laws that govern who can be on the grid and when - it is much less of a problem on the technical end.

During two years of my service tour, with the US Army, I was stationed at Ft Wainwright, Fairbanks Alaska. The US and it's NATO allies used that area as winter training grounds for warfare against Russia. Both Napolean and Hitler learned the hard lessons of defeat in -40 to -50 degree farenheit weather. So NATO forces come to Alaska annually to prepare.

While I participated in this training, I saw the 'Aurora Borealis' the Northern Lights almost every day and night. Keep in mind that, during the winter months, Fairbanks experiences no sun, complete darkness, 24 hours of the day during the winter months. Except for the Northern Lights. Surprisingly, they appeared most days and nights, lighting up the sky and the earth much brighter than a full moon or a normal evening dusk.

The colors and intensity were a beauty to behold, sometimes red, sometimes green, sometimes multicolored, red/green/gold. Often the lights were static but many times they'd be swirling/churning. For sure they were a sight to see!!!!! So, if you do get an opportunity to see them be sure and take advantage of it.

And, BTW, I've never seen such a light display in the lower 48 States, only Alaska during the dead of winter. And there were no Northern Lights in Alaska during the summer months as the sun was out shining 24 hours a day. Perpetual daylight and no night.

My uncle is a retired lineman with Pickwick electric. He knows exactly why it takes as long as it does to restore power to some areas after a natural disaster.

Are you claiming he doesn't know what he's talking about, or are you claiming he is lying to the rest of us?

I'd say that's a claim that needs proof.

No - I am not saying anything like that.

Yes - it can take a while to repair downed power lines or substation equipment failure - stuff like that - however, that is not what I was referring to.

They sometimes take down parts of the grid that are in perfect working order or limit electrical power distribution/output when the capability is actually there for greater loads - strictly based on regulation requirements.

I am saying that they could take down any part of - or all of - the electrical grid and tell you it was because of "electromagnetic interference from solar storm Auroral activity" and you would never know that that was not the real reason...

Please read post #6 and post #7 again and realize that the center of focus was the idea of it taking six weeks/months to restore part-or-all of the systems that monitor and control electrical power distribution.

I am just calling baloney on that idea.

Please provide links about this happening.

Also, if they did this wouldn't it directly conflict with what conspiracy theorists believe they are trying to do? Seems like it would go directly against the whole keeping people distracted with modern technology thing.

We seem to be getting a lot of seepage from the conspiracy forum lately, in multiple threads. Could somebody check the drain seals?

I learned these things from an electrical engineer I happen to know who has past experience in the electrical grid system in the U.S. and is very familiar with the 'political' side of how it is set up.

I'm looking forward to this. I love the Aurora videos. I would love to see the lights in person.

If your fears are built on hearsay, you need better fears. Or at least more entertaining ones.

My only fear in this world is red wasps. They have no respect for personal space and you don't have to make them mad to get stung. And they are just all OVER west Tennessee, where I live.
