  • I don't really care for movies. I used to watch them, but I haven't watched a movie in a long time. I don't use any of those streaming services either. I used to love sports to, but once they started going woke I stopped watching that also. I just want to watch sports, I don't need their far left agenda shoved down my throat. I have no idea why I felt the need to go on this tirade.

I haven't watched any new movies for years, don't have pay tv only an antenna. But my favorite movie of all time was 'Dr Strangelove or How I Learned to Love the Bomb'. This movie was a parody of 'Failsafe', a time when everyone was afraid of a nuclear attack. I have watched this movie many times. Here's a quick clip of the movie, Slim Pickens is determined to deliver a nuclear payload to the Russkies. He is working to fix the bombay door to release the bomb:

Who doesn't like a good movie?

I thought it might be nice to have a place where we can brag on and recommend movies to each other.

What movies did you really enjoy? What movies did you wish you hadn't watched? What movies do you recommend for the whole family?
you all are going to find this funny & or weird: i'm actually new to watching tv! never liked watching tv as a kid, teen or an adult. but picked it up in the last 4 years so tv is basically new to me. i like clint eastwood movies, charles bronson movies, james bond movies, lee marvin & james coburn movies, bruce lee & chuck norris movies, also, nature, history, learning, show, sports & i watch pastors & listen to Christian music on tv.

High Plains Drifter! Anything with Clint Eastwood, I would watch. And most I have.
Clint used to be my favourite actor.

Who doesn't love a man that can squint, smoke, and spit, all at the same time?

Or as I said in another thread:

Squintin' spittin' shootin' chewin' smokin' hot Clint caught my fancy for a time...

Although now we are both too old for me to be crushing on him LOL

At one point a few years back, I made it my mission to watch all his movies in chronological order.

I did go out of order to watch the Dirty Harry ones together/back-to-back.

The Every which Way movies kind of left me scratching my head going, huh?
