Everyone and anyone who accepts Yeshua as their savior and puts their total trust in God the Father will be saved.

You're totally off-topic.
Buddy are YOU ever in the wrong forum!

Sometimes we start talking about online dating, get off on fried chicken, and wind up talking about truck maintenance. You get used to it after a while.

I've noticed this isn't the place for friendly, Godly, discussions. Management seems more focused on making money than on being a good place to become closer to God. I donated $20 a week ago and didn't even get a "thanks".

You are correct.

My understanding is Judaism says very little about anyone's destination after death. The First Testament is vague on this topic and only makes a few allusions to life after death. One of the most common is "Going to live with your forefathers". For early Jews the focus was living a righteous and prosperous life here and now. In their minds accomplishing earthly righteousness was their goal. Once that was accomplished what comes next takes care of itself.

I think there is much wisdom here.

Well... I mean... I never have paid a thin dime. I've been here chatting with people for almost a decade. I've had a lot of friendly, Godly discussions here over the years.

Meanwhile a quick check of your post history shows a LOT of argumentative posts. Hmm...

Maybe you're just here for the wrong reason. Maybe you wouldn't recognize a friendly, Godly discussion if you saw it. There are plenty of those discussions to see, all over the forum. If you can't see them, maybe you're spending too much time arguing stuff.

Does anybody know? Thanks.
Depends which branch of Judaism you consult. Even in Jesus' day, there were factions and disagreements.
For instance, the Sadducees did not believe in angels, or the resurrection. That is why they were sad, you see...

Acts 23:8
For the Sadducees say that there is neither a resurrection, nor
angels, nor spirits, but the Pharisees acknowledge them all.

Nah. They were sad for the same reason the Pharisees were crabby. They hated Jesus and kept trying to trip him up, but every time he made them look silly. :p

I freely admit to sometimes making comments solely for my personal entertainment.

But my second post was pure helpfulness. It's just something you gotta get used to around here.

Shoot, you've been posting in the Bible Discussion Forum, the infamous BDF. You really need a thick skin over there. If a little facetiousness and a couple off-topic comments in this thread throw you off your stride, no way you'll make it very long in BDF. :p

Hello Patrick, there is some interesting information on the Jewish belief(s) concerning the final destination of Jews (the link below is to a short article that begins with a short video, just FYI). The article centers on the thoughts/beliefs of Rabbinic Judaism (as most do today), but it takes a quick look at a couple of other traditional beliefs, some lost, some renewed (like the beliefs of Jewish mysticism) to one degree or another.

If nothing else, this seems like it might be a good place to begin a study of this topic (Jewish teachings about the afterlife for Jews, that is). If I find something interesting about modern and/or traditional Jewish teachings concerning the afterlife of non-Jews, I'll get back to you.

God bless you!!

--Papa Smurf

This is about a minute and a half in length, just FYI

Whoops, for clarity's sake, Papa Smurf is my username on a different forum (where I was just finished posting). I also wanted to add that there are a couple of Christian forums that both allow and encourage participation from Jews, so if you'd like to direct your questions about Judaism to Jews, you can certainly do so there.

If you'd like the addresses of these forums, just PM me (Start Conversation) and I'll be happy to give them to you.
