Through life

Here I sit to think of you, in this life and what to do. Some days I think I'm passing time, but as for you you're on my mind. I work all day to earn my pay, then go home with no delay.

Now I'm stopped to use this brain, on how your life was took and slain. Through the work the cloths the food, I'm only here to serve you. This life I live is not for me, but to glorify you so others can see. To let them hear so I must speak, let your words from my mouth leak.

To live this life out on my own, is so pointless and so alone. You are the reason that I am here, through joy through pain through all my fears. In the world no point at all, without you we only fall. There was a man his name was Saul, you opened his eyes and he became Paul. In a dark jail you heard his voice, after been beaten he still rejoiced. He praised your name and showed his love, through chains and whips pushed and shoved.

What a moral one I seek, because I too can feel this heat. This life for me has set a lock, with torn clothes no shoes one sock. The walls of life are closing in, but I lift my head a praise a hymn. In a dark cell wrapped in chains, glory to God praise his name. You are my hope you are my king, I give you my life I give you everything.



I have been doing some deep thinking these last couple days. Paul in the sell keeps coming to my mind. How even though he was beaten he still rejoiced to the lord. This world has been beating on me, weather at home or work or even just when I'm doing something I enjoy. I asked what am I doing here, why am I here. To serve. Through every day, we must serve. I'm not here just to live but to live to serve the lord. I feel like I should be doing more for the lord. Spread the gospel. Like why am I working so hard when I see people that need to hear about the lord.... people everywhere. I am not a man who is a good speaker and I smother myself and I lack confidence...... But is that a good enough reason not to make a stand for the lord? The lord has laid his life down for us, I need to lay my life down for him.

Dear heavenly father,
Please give us your strength to step out of our comfort zone when serving you. Please help us to be a good witness. Lord I know I have struggles and sins that I need forgiveness for lord, and I know I need to serve you better. Not just the things we do can be a sin but the things we don't do. Lord I pray that we spread the gospel to others, to help them to understand and except Jesus in their hearts lord. I pray for our countries and our leaders lord. I pray they hear your word and expect Jesus and that they may be used by you lord. Lord I know you have your will lord but I pray that others will listen and open their hearts lord and replant lord. Please help us lord, please guide us with your holly spirit lord.
I thank and love you lord in Jesus name Amen.

I think it's a heartcry of all sincere believers that God would use us for His glory. I know I've had times where I've felt like I was just living life and not really doing anything for the kingdom.

As for not being a confident speaker, don't be discouraged! Look at Moses and how God used him despite what he believed were his limitations. It's really all Him and for His glory anyway!

Thanks😊. This is just more of how everything is only second to why we are really here. We all have ups and downs but no matter what we are going through we should always remember why we are here and always rejoice. When we are going through the valleys of life, we should remember to help others by spreading the gospel. To be more concerned with others spiritual status then our physical status. But yes I do need to be more confident and speak to others more. I did think of Moses as well. But thank you for taking the time to read this.
